BESIDES THE MIXTAPES THERE REALLY ISNT HELLA ALBUMS THAT COME OUT EVERY MONTH.
AND IF I HAVENT HEARD OF U I WONT BUY UNLESS UVE BEEN PROMOTIN REAL FUKN HARD. AND THEN I JUST BUY OUTTA CURIOSITY,
BUT IN ALL HONESTY 9 OUTTA 10 CD'S I EITHER BUY OR GET GIVEN TO ME FROM BAY ARTIST SUK BAD.
NO LYRICYSM WACK BEATS. BAD RECORDING, WACK HOOK. TERRIBLE MIXING IF ANY.
VERY RARELY DO I GET A BAY CD FROM A UNKNOWN ARTIST THATS IS DOPE.

THE ONLY DOPE SHIT IS FROM CATS THATS BEEN DOIN IT BIG OUT HERE.

IVE ONLY MET OR HEARD OF MAYBE 10 DIAMONDS IN THE RUFF THAT BE DROPPIN JEWELS. OUTTA THE 1OO'S OF ARTIST IVE MET OR HEARD OF OUT HERE.

imma fiend prolly like 75$ a month... i dont download shit, i support the artist but i have been let down hella times... I threw down 15 on the pillionares cd which was garbage had 1 or 2 tracks i lightweight felt.... This month is gonna be hurtin my pockets... Messy marv draped up and chipped out 2, mistah fab and g-stack thizz nation, purple city project vol 3, san quinn the color of money, duna crack baby, guce tell me when to stop cuz im still goin, Keak da sneak deify, B-legit throwblock music, little bruce xxx classics, eddie projex now or never...

i don't buy a lot of music anymore. i don't have much free time. then me and my brother or my homies we usually trade cds for a little while. i don't feel the need to purchase every single cd but I do listen to a lot of shit.

when these bay area rappers start putting out quality albums..

that's when I will take it back to the 90's ...when i was buying 15-20 CD's a month..

now a days..i buy like 2-3 albums every 6 months or when i feel like supporting the artist..

bay area rap used to be the only shit i bought but now a days so much trash is coming out the bay i might buy 1 bay cd a month tops. id rather spend my money on quality shit from the midwest like SLC or c-mob or some memphis rap like playa fly. bay area rap used to be the only shit i would listen to for years shit just hasnt been the same for the last 6 or 7 years theres only a select few still holdin it down in the bay now (even the OG rappers tryna be hyphy shit is straight trash). most people around my age (25+) aint fuckin wit that hyphy shit BRING BACK THE MOBB SHIT!

well, i did buy awax's cd's this year for 2.00's when tower records closed...

so... 4.00

oh wait i also bought a J. Dandridge album for a dollar from him

so..5.00 this year

wait wait! i also bought block report and dubb20's first album for 2 dollars each too....

a whopping 9 bucks spent on bay area cds this year
