think about all the younger cats just getting started. its a shame but it is what it is. some cats get offended cause they dont see reality and still living on a dream. go to school. get a trade. anything but making music a career. do it for the love not the money!

why do people in the music business get their feathers ruffled on the internet? yes it is whatchi did family. the truth hurts i know but it isnt my fault some dont have back up plans! but the soundscans dont lie! kids can hear the math, but us grown folks do the math! in essence the bay music scene is brokendown like my oldschool in the garage. it can be brought back, but it costs! whos willing to spend is the question! but tell me though family, who has a music career nowadays? im curious. im not against the movement, thats for sure. im a supporter and support artists by spending 13.99 on a cd that gets soundscanned. but reality is you can make $20,000 a year at mc'donalds. is that considered a career too?

shit, I remember hearing GUCE was working at a hospital or some shit like that, actually had a 9 to 5....and he is one of the most successful artists out there. Im pretty sure he has quit, cuz i think he invested his money into real estate, and hes back on the grind in the music game, but honestly.........only very few make a living in the rap game, and out of those, only a very few of those actually make good amount of money........make music your hobby, spit some raps on the weekend and at night when your done with school. if you make it in music, great......if not, youll be making it in something else.

Versatile Producers/Musicians are handlin that bizness ;) .

Just cuz i'm not sure... I'm in school for bioengineering... but in my very realistic and logical mind... with the right effort I could make it with music most definitely. Like I've thought about it for years though... you gotta REALLY have the abilities.

Most rappers are too bigheaded to realize they don't... so =/ ur right about that... but as far as music in general... lots of people got careers in music and I want myself to be one of them... but i got a backup plannn fa shooo
