I would surely perish. Not only do I detest camping outdoors, but I have no idea how to live off the land. I have no idea what plants or bugs are decent for consumption, and I have no hunting experience. So naturally, I would be fucked. Good thing that nothing crazy is gonna happen tomorrow where I would need these sorts of skills.

survivorman is a dope show. les stroud is a sav, bigbreaded knows what imm talkin bout. ive seen episodes where they leave him in a costa rican rainforest, on an island the size of my backyard in the middle of the pacfic, the arctic circle, on the top of a mountain, and in a georgia swamp all for 7 DAYS and all he gets is like an army knife and the clothes on his back. once i saw him start a fire with some film from his camera. also dont forget hes lugging around about 80 pounds oof camera equipment cuz he tapes it all himself. so he has to set the cameras up, then take shots of him walkin around and then he has to go back and get the cameras. hes crazy.....im not sure if he was a navy seal though cuz hes canadian....

Down with corn! lol...What's funny is that it's actually really hard for human bodies to digest, but so many fuckin people eat it.

Thats why I always have undigested pieces of corn in my dooky all the time??? haha

^^It's either that or you don't chew your food enough. I've heard that you're supposed to chew your food like 25 times or some shit like that...might have been 30 though....shouldn't drink milk either....new studies are showing that the calcium is too solidified and human bodies can't absorb it...and actually when it goes through your system, is takes calcium out of your body....i read the best source for calcium is calcium fortified water....I wasn't surpised that it was water though, seeing that our bodies are like what? 78% water or something like that? Humans are the ONLY species that drinks another species' milk for growth....I'd say humans are probably one of the most disgusting animals on this planet.

I forgot to mention that survivorman is off the hook, but in a real world/life situation it would be much different. They are at LEAST giving him something to work with (a couple of matches, some jerky, a knife), but who is to say you will have these things in a real life situation? But, on the real, I think everyone here should at least look into a couple of books (dealing with survival) and really ponder the possibility that you may be faced with harsh times.

Also, do any of you have "kits" or emergency packs? I'm not just talking first aid kits, I'm talking kits that have bottle watered, matches, a compass, a knife (or a small pistol), a poncho (for the rain), etc.

When I was 16/17 yrs old I lived in the middle of Mt Hood National Forest with my family, with no running water/electricity. Sure we had to go into for the necasities(spell check) such as basic foods(bread, milk, potatoes) & Gas, etc., etc.. Had to drive damn near 15 miles to take a shower once a week if I was lucky to do so. Drove about 2-3 miles to get water & fill up 5 gallon bottles & a water tank. Ate deer on a regular. If it came down to it I know I can make do with what is needed. I have friends & family that also have lived in the same area of the woods live up there for years.
