I feel you on that whole post Pimp.

Being that I grew up in a small town out here in Central Cali. I traveled alot outta state for a long time. A teacher once told me when I was a in high school, "Travel, whatever chance you get, travel. Go out and see the world. Learn new things..."

I took his advice and found myself talking (communicating), with people from different parts of the country. The thing is...when I came back home I found the people (here at home) were somewhat closed minded about a whole lot of things.

I find people are quick to knock things befiore trying them...it falls (in my case), as the small town mentality. Afraid to view outside the box and accept change...

The most ignorant quote I've heard people give (and lot of people throw this around like it's something to be proud of). "It's all I know."

and yeah, it's a sad thing.
and thats exactly what i'm talk'n about.

i feel yall on the small town shit too. it sucks. thats why i'm open to different cultures and shit. even if it's just 300 miles north or south in cali. i want to visit outside the country if i can. i'm just waiting on my dad to retire so he can seriously consider visiting back home in PI. i wanna see where he and my mom grew up.

beside that i watch all that shit they show on tv showing different cultures and over seas shit. i always trip out on how people live.

When i moved to LA back in 1994 I was amazed of how confined those people were. Damn near every person i met hadnt been 50 miles outside of LA county. LA was all they knew. I kind of felt sorry 4 them cus they did'nt know what they were missing. it was like if it did'nt arrive in LA they would never know it existed
