so lets say you make a cd, get a bunch of them pressed up and everything, how do you get it into the actual stores? do you just have to ask the owner of the shop if he'll buy any? what about chains like fye music and stuff?

or u can pay a distributor to put them hoes n stores and some distro companies will do promotions to help get your shit off tha shelves cuz it aint no point in puttin units on shelves if you aint got bread break on promotion to help sell that shit homie u best doin that shit out tha trunk and online unless you aint serious about tha shit got money to waste and wanna use it to make u seem like a cool rapper guy!

I was reading too that you should keep a record of what stores N how much you sold so when dealin with distributors, theyll look at numbers N think to do business wit you.
