how do I get the dope synths, and drum kits that dre, and Rick Rock use. Just curious how it works, are they those kits that you buy off Ebay on zip disk, or you gotta buy those Sound Kits at Guitar Center...

anyone have any insight?

I have some for sale, one of which features more than 200 sounds in the vein of Dr Dre and another kit that has 200+ sounds with Rick Roc/Neptunes sounds.

$25 each or 2 for $40

If you want a few samples from them, email me [email protected]

when you say kits... are they just drums?

or do you have a lot of the Bass Synths, Electronic sounding Intruments and Hits?

are they the whole Chord Spectrum? like the bass's?

this might sound like an idiot question... but I have a crappy keyboard at the momment...

but for instance, I put it on a Buzz Bass, I press a Key and Hold it down, and the Buzz Bass will play for as long as I hold the key down

but lets say I load stuff from those CD's (like a Bass) onto a korg or Mpc, will it do that samething, when I press the key, the sound will play for as long as I hold the key down? or will it just play for as long as the sample I loaded? does that make sence?

On my Motif sampler if you loop the sample, it will play for as long as the key is held, otherwise it will be as long as the sample..
The problem with using samples like that is when you play the sound on lower/higher keys the speed of the sample changes(Lower pitch slows the sample, higher pitch speeds it up)...

Most producers get their sounds from a variety of sources. They sample old breaks, sample other rap songs, buy sample disks/cd, and get them from sound modules.

Good looking out Mark7 and N Jail...

how much is the bass kit goin for...can i get a drum kit and a bass kit for $40 instead of 2 drum kits...
Sure thing...

The drum kits I have availible are as follows:
Classic #1 - A whole lot of classic Westcoast sounds. Modeled after Battlecat & DJ Quik.
Classic #2 - More of classic sounds
The Club - A lot of percussion and claps heard in clubs. Modeled after Timbaland/Rick Roc/Neptunes.
Explosive - Hard, grimey sounds that cut thru the mix. Modeled after Dr Dre
Ladies Night - Rnb styled sounds with some club sounds as well.
