The more I listen to Tech's interviews it seems like he wants to be mainstream.

shit, nothing's wrong with that because Tech's been working hard for many years and he deserves the $$$ that mainstream success would give him and his family. People that are quick to say "Ohh, Tech's gonna sell out!!" must have no confidence in him and forget about TECH'S RAP SKILLS...look at Eminem... his last album was CRAP as supposed to his first albums, but the mainstream and a handful of non-mainstream fans still bought that shit. Eminem knows how to work the system now, that's why he saved his hard flows for the UNDERGROUND DJ Green Lantern MIXtapes, letting his hardcore fans know that he hasn't "lost his flows".

But yeah, what I'm saying is that if Tech blows up, then that's fuckin cool because HE'S TALENTED AND CAN ADAPT... ADAPT to the mainstream and be UNDERGROUND whenever HE WANTS TO...now THAT takes talent....unlike some rappers who rely on dissing other rappers/mentioning deceased rappers ALL the time just to get "recognition" and/or "credibility".

If Tech goes mainstream, I think it would be great to see him collaberating with BOTH MORE mainstream and underground artists from EVERY genre.

Nah, it is just ridiculous to ask for help in such a stupid situation like this. If he has to ask for advice about this shit he could comeon here all the time and ask dumb shit. I just want to deter any of this bullshit from coming on the board.
Hmm.. yeah and Im pretty sure people came on here to hear ur ass just complain and go off topic talkin about yourself... I just brought up something that I thought a lot of people shared with me when it came to tech music and wanted to know their opinion, if ur gonna be sum fuckin hater or whatever dont post that shit at all...

If "Tech" got the big deal went mainstream it aint like his shit gone go soft. Tech will get the deal when people realize his shit is some next level flava. I don't see "Tech" changin' his style up, maybe more marketable hooks but thats kool. I would love to see it. Cuzz hard work has to pay off eventually...

........

This how I see it.

EVERYBODY IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD HAS A CERTAIN LEVEL OF IGNORANCE.

If the "mainstream" audience all of a sudden gets off Em and Dre's dick, muthafuckin radio poppin shit, and the normal "what we feed you is hot right now" attitude that radio and music stations like MTV bring and start buyin up Tech N9ne and make him blow up, then I will literally cut my own dick off. There is no fuckin way in hell Tech would be able to be a heavy hitter in the mainstream eye. The imagery, marketing, music is just on another level that people who sit there and are brainwashed by big money companies dont have the mental capacity to understand.

Believe it or not, the next "hot artist" isnt decided by how good their music is, it's decided by marketability and how much money its predicted to generate. Not everyone in america is goin to all of a sudden realize how much SKILLz, and ORIGINALITY Tech N9ne has, among other things.

These record companies literally do tests on muthafuckaz to see if a song is played enough- whether or not it will catch on. Tech N9ne isnt like everyone else on the radio. Tech N9ne is on another level compared to the normally brainwashed public who make so many artists so much money. The thing is, Tech's fanbase wont die off over time like all these other cats.

Tech N9ne is doing to the rap game right now, what punk rock did to the rock n' roll business back in the 70's.

I will say Tech N9ne DEFINATELY has the potential and all around just greatness as a rap artist to be in the mainstream and fuck with anybody makin multi-mill's- but theres no way the mass public would let that happen, they're too fuckin ignorant.

Check out a book called Blink. Its an easy title to find, fairly new. It explains how people's subconcious reacts in unison with their concious mind to create their decisions, and it even has a referance to a music artist who is greatly accepted by "big shots" in the industry, yet did not do well when marketed.

It would take too long to explain out everything here, but the die hard fans here that pay close attention already realize what im trying to get at.
