The fuckin print screen never works, it gives you a black square in place of the video.

I also use to do some thing, changing the hardware acceleration in my settings somewhere, but now that i have a flatscreen it just makes my whole picture go black...

is there any free program or any way of doing this? i need to get some screen shots of video

Hope this works for you

If your using Windows Media Player do the following
tools---Options
Performance tab
Advanced
Uncheck Use Overlays

play movie pause whereever you wanna capture and press the prt scr button on keyboard
Open up Paint and CTRL+V and it should be there and cut out whatever you need

Abd yes Nefar PowerDvd has the capture shots button forgot about that one its much easier just have to find out where it saves by default
