The draft....This is the most over hyped bullshit ever. A guy drops tweenty spots and they make it seem as though it's the worst thing that has ever happened to him. What world do these people live in?

By the way, the majority of those players will never be heard from again. They will get lost in the NFL and will eventually end up becoming used car salesman.

Broncos C-

They needed dline help YES...but way too much character issues with these guiys, traded up 4 spots to get Moss who probably would have been there still, traded all of day 2 to move up and get Thomas..blah bad pick!

Had a chance at Mason Crosby who is the PERFECT kicker for us and instead took Harris, decent player I think but Crosby will be a game changer with booming fg's and near almost always touchbacks in Denver.

BIGDAYNE....WTF would you want a te??????

Graham scheffler & alexander...and 2 others like nate jackson and mike leach....where the hell would you put another te...no too mentiuon schef & gtaham are locked up for a few seasons, and those are our sure lock starters, unless we got gonzales heap or gates there is no reason to go after another te!

Grading a draft before a minimum of 1 year has passed is indicative of stupid ass fans.
Either give input, or get the FUCK outta my thread. No one cares what you think fans should be like. Your definition of fan is "stupid ass", so how valid is your input anyways?

Grading a draft as far as NEEDS and WANTS...or can you not grasp that ingenius idea, your pretencious, pompus prick?

49ers
got 2 starters in the first round. stud ILB and potential franchise T. nolan and mcloughan always talk about building a superior offensive line and they stick with their word. and also maybe a steal with jason hill WR/wash. st. in the 3rd and 5th rounder CB tarell brown from texas who was supposedly a 1st round talent but dropped cuz of character issues..then a lot of d-lineman which makes sense for need of team

B+

Cleveland aint gonna do shit this year..and they are handing Dallas a top 5 pick.
You want to put money on that? We are not picking in the top 10 next year...I will put money on that. 15 maybe...but not the top 10.

As for my Browns...I'll give them a B.

F?

why an F?

we got our WR that we needed, he's a physical wideout like Hines Ward which is a plus.

we got 2 defensive lineman that we definately needed, one of em tha strongest guy in the entire draft plus his name is "Tank" for cryin out loud...lol
especially with not having Jared Allen for tha first 4 games drafting that Turk McBride was a good move.

then we get some would say tha best kicker in tha draft in Medlock, who should definately take Tynes' spot which would be best for tha team. also throw in Kolby who will be an adequate 3rd down back who can catch and block...he did great replacing tha hurt Bush at Louisville.

all in all, lookin at our needs before draft day...i'll give our boys a B-.

I seen a list where the over/under for Browns is 5.5 wins.......6 wins seems attainable, easy money

San Francisco 49ers: Nine picks and Darrell Jackson make for a very good draft haul. Nabbing Jackson was a major score, giving the 49ers a player with the ability to be a No. 1 wideout. Piling that on top of linebacker Patrick Willis and offensive tackle Joe Staley, and the 49ers added talent fast. Willis could be the next great middle linebacker in the NFL. And Staley has the athleticism to be a top tackle if he's developed properly. Both wideout Jason Hill and defensive end Ray McDonald could turn out to be sleepers in the third round. Defensive tackle Joe Cohen offers good value in the fourth round and should add quality depth to the defensive line.
Grade: A

Raiders B+ we got the quaterback we needed, we got a tight end that can catch the ball consistently and block, we got a D.E. that was a first round prospect before his little hiccups, and we got a Safety that is a much better tackler than Stuart Swiegert or whatever his name is. I think we have addresed all of our needs except for offensive line, but thats all right because I think Jeremy Newberry and Carlisle will be fine for next year. A wasted pick and a real reach to get Mario Henderson in the 3rd round.

I'd give my Steelers a C-/B+.

We drafted two LBs in a row. They both seem good, and Timmons will eventually be a Porter upgrade. But the Steelers do NOT draft linebackers in the first round. We've had some of the best linebackers in the history of football, and we took them in the later rounds and molded them. This seems to be the new Tomlin mentality. I'd prefer to take skill players or O linemen in the first round and save the LBs for later on. But at the 15th spot Timmons was really the only good choice left.

I think we needed to address RB and CB which we didn't do. Picking up a D lineman was a good idea.

We got a TE which I dont think we need cuz we got Miller catching and a few good blocking TE's. Arians wants to get the 3 TE set in. This isn't gonna be Steeler football much longer...

Trading up for a punter in the 4th round was questionable too.

I see where Tomlin is going with this...beef up the defense, beef up the special teams. We need major help in special teams, but our defense doesn't need as much help as the offense. I think we still have some holes that we wont lock up in free agency because we dont pay and most free agents are gone.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I have a lot of faith in the front office. Its Tomlin I'm worried about. We'll see how this season goes though.
