TIME IN THE FED'S

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT WITH FED TIME YOU GOT TO DO A MINIMUM LIKE 80% OF THE TIME SO IF D. WENT IN IN DECEMBER 1988 AT AGE 20 AND IT'S 2010 THAT'S 22 YEARS SO ANOTHER 8 YEARS IS 30 YEARS AND WITH A 35 YEAR SENTENCE THAT'S 6/7THS OF THE TIME. SO I GUESS HE MIGHT BE LOCKED UP TILL 2018 AT AGE 50. LIL D.'S WAS BOOK WAS GOOD, GO PURCHASE IT. ALSO CHECK OUT MICKEY MO'S BOOK IF IT'S STILL OUT.

Mickey Mo

Well you're getting first hand account but what i inquired from older friends and partnas my age that get second and third hand stories plus what I read and figured was Felix Mitchell had alot more heat on him from law enforcement so getting out of town gave him a chance to breath, plus he was trying to live a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles. I figured the Village was winnin the war with the Family and the sense I got from reading Mickey Mo's book was there was much war between Mickey Mo & The Family verses cats who left the Family and tried to start their own shit plus war with Big Harv' & Funktown who was in a closer proximity to where Mickey Mo's main turf was. I don't believe The Family ran Felix Mitchell out of Oakland but rather an accumilation of things. Bloodshed brings more heat, flashy lifestyles (cars, jewelry, yaughts, big parties, mansions) bring too much pressure from law enforcement and when the fed's got involved in 1983 it was just too much heat. Plus people snitchin', a few Mob members snitchin' on the under. Many crews ignore the fact that you got to keep those murders to a minimum when you operate a large scale drug operation. Murder brings too much heat and a demand for law enforcement to get involved. Local police may only apply frequent pressure when it's strictly drugs and money but when murder is involved it becomes all out intense pressure, and when it's multiple murders the fed's are gettin involved and there is no limit to the amount of funds or resources and man power that the law will blitz you with and obviously Felix Mitchell felt that to it's highest degree and if they give you some time in the game it's only to strengthen their case so they can throw the book at you and hit you with much more than your high priced lawyer can handle. (Actually nowadays there isn't no where near the amount of money being made back then and law enforcement will more than likely shut you down at some point even without murders, they've advanced to much in the last 25 years and the sentences are way too high) I think though that if Fee was gettin' $20,000 to $30,000 a day that's lets just say ten million a year Mickey Mo claims the family made 72 million in 5 years so maybe The Family made a little more money. I don't know, all I know is that these two brothas were both runnin shit and if you talked to different people they'd all have their own accounts and opinions but I know ain't no nigga that's a boss or a real man let another man run him out of town, but pressure from the fed's will. Plus I kind of saw it as the 6-9 Mob was more like a straight up gang controlling 2 housing projects with over 100 to 200 members between both 6-9 and 6-5. So I mean Fee had to have more man power and more hittas on his squad, I'd like to hear the opinions of those who have more knowledge on this matter give their say without putting too much of other people's business out there . Much respect to Mickey Mo, I loved his book he was a real mob boss in this game and I'm glad he has changed his life and still living to tell his story and reach out to others. I didn't know his website was still up I ain't seen it in about 5 years. We can say it was a draw or a loss for both of them, and the Fed's the winner as Felix lost his life in prison and Mickey Mo lost years of his life away from his loved ones, but he's here trying to make a difference in people's lives and that counts for a whole lot.

B Law i think you hit the nail on the head. Mickey oviously did his thang. , and he agrees (from what he tells me) that Fe had more money, but is Mickey's eyes he wasnt as in the street as Mickey was with Funktown. But yeah from what i take from the whole story it was a whole bunch of stuff including money and lavish lifestyle in LA that had Fe in So Cal. But i have heard 1st hand accounts from people there age who don't know i know Mickey tell me. Fe was a business man and Mickey was killa. You sound like you know your stuff please drop more gems!

my pops even says mickey moore & the ward brothers were bigger than felix mitchell back then
The Ward brothers were on some Pimp shit more than anything. Nobody was "bigger" than Felix that man made the drug game in Oakland what it was. The 69 Mob was notorious all over the Bay iono if them other cats could make that claim. I guess it depend on who u talk to. My Uncles who grew up and went to high school wit some of Felix's family told me many times that nobody was on his level back then.
