Hip Hop DVD's I own

T9X(for Tech N9nw fanz & those interested in trying 2 get into hiz music. Doesn't look low budget either. Great quality.

Beef 1, 2 & 3(a must have)

Street Monster: The Rise & Fall Of First Degree The D.E.(For D.E. fanz)

Ghetto Celeberties:Brotha Lynch Hung(for Lynch Fanz & Fanatics)

Letter To The President(I recommend thiz DVD 2 everyone)

Black And Blue: Legends Of The Hip Hop Cop(OK but could of been better IMO. Still worth checkin out)

Strong Arm Robbery Vol. 2

These are the Hip Hop DVD's I own. There are about 4 or 5 that I want that I don't have. Be very careful buying Hip Hop DVd's cuz itz a hustle 2 most of these rapperz now esp Underground rapperz who have limited exposure & are eager 2 get there namez out. 80 percent of HHDVD's are trash so u gotta look hard 2 find the good shit.

I waz just thinkin that also. A book iz probably what he needz. Plus a book would break down a lot more then any DVD could ever.

I know it'd be nice to get this info on DVD but if you really want to start learning about the business I would pick up a book if I were you... that will go way more into depth about the music business than any movie or dvd

and if you're in contract negotiations (which means you've been grinding independently for a while) just make sure to always have a lawyer look over the contracts

^ Oh ok.. I've never really seen any dvd's break that down

People make the business seem more complicated than it is and probably the most difficult thing to understand is the royalties like radio play, ringtones etc which is the money that comes in after the cd stops selling which the newer artists always forget about and end up getting screwed over.

The business is just like everything else... distributors, retailers and promotion. A point = 1% and the more clout you have, and the more demand for your product, the more points you SHOULD be getting

but yeah, don't know of any dvd's that explain this lol
