teams just weren't ready for them this year, they will be next year. now they've got over a year of game film to study and breakdown. this is what makes it so hard for teams to win multiple titles in a row. playing into june wears you down and then you got every team in the league gunning for you. teams make offseason moves to compete with the best teams and spend the offseason figuring out what works against them.

my squad didn't just go down because they didn't play well. they were tired from going to the finals 3 years in a row and meanwhile the other teams in the west got better. the hornets would have won the series against us if david west wasn't out for the season.
THE LAKERS GOT BEAT BY A BETTER TEAM THAT WANTED IT MORE... IF THE HEAT LOSE THAT WILL BE THE CASE AS WELL... IF FATIGUE WAS AN ISSUE THEN THERE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN TALK ABOUT A 3 PEAT... THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN EXCUSE FOR GETTING SWEPT...

if the lakers made the finals that would be there 4th straight finals appearance. the whole team was beat up all season. also in between those 4 seasons
kobe won a gold medal. Kobe isnt 27 anymore its going to take a toll. I like to see how well lebron and wade deal with injuries when they hit 32.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT THOSE AINT VALID POINTS BUT HOW COME NONE OF THAT WAS BROUGHT UP BEFORE OR DURING THE SEASON... IT SEEMS LIKE ITS ONLY A FACTOR CUZ THEY LOST... I GIVE DALLAS ALOT OF CREDIT BECAUSE THEY HAD THE TOUGHEST ROAD TO GET TO WHERE THEY ARE AT...

IT WAS A PRETTY WELL KNOWN FACT THAT EVEN AFTER PUTTING TOGETHER THE BIG 3 IN MIAMI THAT THIS YEARS OFF SEASON PICKUPS WERE GONNA BE THE ONES THAT COUNTED FOR THE HEAT... THIS OFFSEASON IS ABOUT THE COMPLIMENTARY PLAYERS AND THIS POSTSEASON SHOULD BE A GOOD INDICATOR OF WHAT THE HEAT WILL NEED TO DO IN THE OFF SEASON WHETHER THEY WIN OR LOSE...

like I said in my other post, the other teams in the west got better. and since the lakers were in the finals 3 years in a row, who do you think the other teams in the west were preparing for the most during their offseasons? they all had plenty of time to figure out what the weaknesses are and how to exploit them.we don't bring it up before losing, because as a fan you always hope to see your team go all the way. there's a reason it's damn near impossible to 4-peat though.

the heat are going to have a real hard time making any improvements to the roster. seeing as how they have no capspace and the new cba will most likely only make things worse.

I don't agree with that. I think mad vets will go there for cheap.

as much as i love to see the heat lose, people are way too quick to judge the series. i especially hate all these damn analyst on ESPN like on Around the Horn and PTI. why do they get paid and why do i even bother watching them? theyre just like everyone else, ANYONE can analyze a game. and theyre NEVER right. lets go Mavs.

lol at ethereal not posting once when the lakers got swept
Lol @ you waiting around for me to post. I didn't post when they beat the Hornets either. Who cares? Oh wait... you do, don't you. In reality, I didn't start really posting about the 2011 NBA playoffs until after the Lakers lost.

LOL...

You know the heat are good when people hate this hard mane...They havent even won the championship yet....Why do people hate when teams do well and have sucess...

Patriots
Lakers
Yankees
....People stay hatin on these teams..Now add the heat to the list....
People hate the patriots because of the tuck rule and spy gate. People hate the Yankees because they buy championships just like the heat. People hate the Lakers are just haters. I don't like the Lakers but I give them respect for beastin it for the past couple of years but that's what happens when you combine Kobe and Phil Jackson.
