i like that you recognize you're an inferior team to the chargers. so by all means you should be excited you got away with one.
offensively the chargers are still putting up good numbers...defensively not so bad. their losses have been because of rarities like special teams and turnovers. once they get that under control (im hoping by this week) watch out. if i were kc and oakland i would not be excited for your next trip to san diego. and dont forget norv loves the second half of the season
I would never use the word inferior, but the chargers should be dominating the division and an elite team in the conference/nfl, and right now they are not. Phillip Rivers is obviously NOT the problem, that exists at the top, with Norv Turner's incompetent ass. He inherited a great team and it seems they've got worse and worse every year. We are on the rise, and even last year with Jawalrus Bustell the first game came down to a game winning drive at the end by Rivers and the second game was only an 8 point differential, but we were playing from behind the entire game.
Yeah but a kick return is a lot more likely that 2 blocked punts.
I mean I just see the Chargers as a far more superior team. Hell they are better than the Chiefs (right now).
I really dont care the farther the Chargers behind us the better cause we know Raiders and Broncos will implode.
it mainly shows that the chargers suck on special teams, that's their huge weak spot and i'm sure it'll continue throughout the season. and you forgot to include your team in the implosion, you know it's bound to happen :cheeky:
