What a waste of 3 mil a year with some good names out there without jobs!

he led a mediocore team in ny to three playoff wins


dick vermiel only led us to one game and we lost. The chiefs were 10x better than the jets.

Dick was too much in love with his players to realize some of them suck so he wouldnt cut them a la the defense. Herm is a no bullshit guy and he was a scout way before this.

I think he will be a good coach and do some stuff with this defense.

Hopefully we can keep Saunders and get a new DC.

Not much of a steal when he probably would have been fired, and if not fired there were at least 3 or 4 better coachers than him out there for no compensation.
