I hope my kids grow up the same way I did. I never smoked anything and kept myself out of trouble because I always wanted to be a professional baseball player. I kept my grades up (even though I hated school) so I could go on to college and get a degree and eventually a well-paying job. I drank a little bit the last two years of high school, but not that much. And my dad kept me involved in sports by coaching my baseball team up to high school. I hope that I can give the same kind of involvement and values in their lives that my parents gave.
