exactly!! but I kinda understand if a lot of you guys don't have that much or anymore promo stuff... I hope to get some Everready promos soon.

I dunno when that movie about Jesse James Hollywood that Strange is doing the score for is coming out, but right now would be a perfect time to release a movie of that caliber and subject matter because there hasn't been any good movie that is out right now that's creating any good buzz. All there is is mostly kids movies in the top 5.... for now.
I think that flyer said April... But, it's not gonna be a top 5 movie, either.

It is an indy movie. So, if it is big at Sundance, somebody could pick it up for national distribution... I think that's how it's working though. I'll check IMDB sometime..

got this from the imdb forums.......

"I spoke with several New Line staffers Friday night after the World Premiere. The first one (who would say anything) told me, "March." I replied, "definitely? March?" And he replied yes.

The second one I spoke to said March 17. When I pressed him as to whether or not that was definitely the date, he said yes, but that it hadn't been announced yet. I agreed not to identify him.

Bottom line: 2 staffers for New Line both told me March, and one specifically said March 17. So we reported that, of course.

Nick also that Sunday that he heard it would be announced Monday. That didn't happen, obviously.

So I contacted New Line. This is what they told me the following Thursday:

Hi, Larry. There's still no firm release date set, but I think it's safe to say that it will be some time this Spring, most likely in April or May. There should be a firm date announced in the next few weeks.

They told me that Thursday February 2.

Then Entertainment Weekly posted April 27. They even have a Countdown Clock. It started at 75 days and is now at 61. So this is the 15th day it has been posted as April 27th, and the clock is still counting down:

New Line still has not issued a press release, though, it's not listed at their official site.

Here is what Alpha Dog writer/director Nick Cassavetes posted here Wednesday February 15:

"There is another test screening tomorrow in Houston, decisions to follow."

They had that test screening Thursday February 16.

================

Now a date has appeared at another site:

ALPHA DOG (April 21)

In this dark independent film director Nick Cassavetes looks at a group of young people whose rebellious lifestyle leads to the murder of a teenage boy. Justin Timberlake, Emile Hirsch, Shawn Hatosy and Anton Yelchin star.

Yeah, I just checked IMDB...

It's coming out May 12th. Nick Cassvetes (the director) posted it himself. And, it's coming out through New Line, so it should see nation wide release, I'd think.
