I SUCK the most at Algebra, can someone give me a hand PLEASE,

4. The function H described by H(x) = 2.75x + 71.48 can be used to predict the height, in centimeters, of a woman whose humerus (the bone from the elbow to the shoulder) is x cm long.

the height of a woman whose humerus is 40 cm long is __________ cm.



7. Use the intercepts to graph the equation: x + 5y = 10



11. Solve by the elimination method:

5x + 6y = 1
10x + 12y = 2



Any help is appreciated

Answer: 11c +8d

4) H(x)=2.75x +71.48
H(x)=2.75(40)+71.48
Answer 181.48 (I THINK)

7) X-Intercept (10,0) Y-Intercept (0, 2)

11) Answer: 0
Mutiply ea. term in the first equation by -2. Everything cancels out, leaving you with 0.

LOL, THAT'S THE KIND OF SHIT YOU LEARN IN HIGHSCHOOL....
Not everyone has a math teacher who knows math. It is Bull, but this summer I overheard of a PE teacher who is going to be teaching math, when there is a math teacher who would have taken the position. No, it is not the fault of students who are at the mercy of such decisions made by principals with no principle.

Thanks for those who helped.....I don't retain math unless I do it everyday and I coasted through the course...some of these questions are from the final. Thanks again

I havn't had any math in over 6 years and math has been the only subject where I didn't retain any info


Not that it matters to anyone on here but next quarter I will be getting a tutor....thought I could coast threw this shit but was wrong

Look a for a science class dawg. It might count for a math class. Ask your adviser. It can work. To Freedom Lost I am at Indiana University and this shit worked for me.

Step by step directions
1. Open algebra book
2. turn to the chapter your homework is from
3. Look at the formulas in the book
4. look at homework and decide which formula from the book is necessary
5. Plug the numbers from your homework into the formula that is needed
6. Work out the problem
7. Repeat for the next problem
