I got a few dvds from a friend that got a bunch of music videos in good quality. I want to create a DVD compilation of my own with selected videos. What are good DVD rippers that I can use without losing the quality of the videos and rips fast?? Right now I have ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum [Trial Version] and it seems easy to use and fast, but I can't get the video quality to look similar to how it appears on the DVD!! I am not sure if I am ripping the music video to a right format (MPEG-1). Is that the right format to use when ripping a DVD??

Also anyone know a good DVD creator software that's easy to use? I got Roxio's Easy Media Creator 7 and I find it a bit difficult to use. I've never really created a DVD before so I need all the help I can get. Holla at me someone!!

Check out: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ should answer some questions, there are tons of programs there too.....also check out their forums, great resource for any other questions regarding all this....

My recommendation is DVDShrink though....

check out dvd decryptor to get stuff from dvd to your comp, i think that is best for not losing quality but youll be left with an iso, youll need isobuster to break up certain parts of it
