Rarsoft also makes a osx version of winrar. But I don't know if they have a GUI version or if its just command line. I believe the website is rarsoft.com.
the rar file is proly password protected...the password should have been listed wherever u dl'd the file from...go back and check to see if its there...hope this helps...
