What, we're gonna get the Blackfish and Jamie stuff at Riverlands? That's dope I thought that was completely cut out since the timeline is a bit out of whack compared to the book. The Brotherhood without Banners also got a name drop, that entire plot line could be brought back and for all we know, Lady Stoneheart, probably a stretch but I could see it happening, all that stuff they cut is just a bit out of order.

Sam got slaughtered by his father lol that was cold. Drogon is beastly as fuck now

I'm pretty sure the flashback Bran had of the Mad King was filmed in the pilot episode but got scrapped. There's a lot more of that footage too.
Seems like the show-writers are advancing the plot (Dany has the Dothraki, Jon Snow is back to life, Bran's on the run from the Wildlings, Hodor, Coldhands is Benjen, Arya says fuck this, etc.) but they're also doing a great job stalling by bringing up old stuff. We all thought that the movies and the books caught up to each other at the end of season 5, but there's still tons of shit from the books that the showrunners can explore like the Riverlands and the Kingsmoot. They're giving the fans what they want (see: fanservice) but they're def pacing it out for GRRM to drop a book in between Seasons 6 and 7.

I wonder if the actor who plays Tommen knows that he's gay IRL yet?

Margaery better have a trick up her sleeve because I'm not trying to have sex dreams about some bitch that just regressed into Sansa Stark.

Arya's def gonna murk that bitch. I almost feel like she was faking during those staff fighting scenes and is just waiting for this bitch to think she caught her slipping.

Danaerys: "Wait here. I'ma go find that dragon I lost and be back in a jiffy." I wish they would have done her story like the book, where she actually has to go through a little bit of adversity before Drogon comes under heel. Not she bounces for 15 minutes to get a pack of smokes and comes back with a fully controlled dragon.

You realize that Hodor should be on the "door close" button? Not the "let everybody in the door" button.

She literally has to go through some shit. She's covered in her own shit after getting terrible diarrhea and she suddenly starts menstruating, the heaviest flow she can ever remember, so she's walking dirty as fuck in her torn clothes covered in diarrhea and her moon blood running down her thighs and legs. Imagine if they did that on TV lol

Weird, I was walking around at work last night and basically thought exactly what you did about the show advancing and thinking they just gutted the 4th book completely, but could still explore it now to stall for GRRM to get his shit together. Also think Lady Stoneheart could still enter the picture as well.

And someone brought up Tommen going against his mom at the trial. I think that's going to happen too. I was thikning a bit ago "the valonqar" which means "the little brother" in Valyrian could either be the hound (that'd be a bit of a stretch) but could also be Tommen somehow (the little brother of Joffrey). I think there's going to be some kind of big event at the trial, and somehow either the hound is going to strangle Cersei, or the hound is going to lose to the mountain, and somehow Tommen is going to strangle Cersei himself. Maybe because after she wins the trial she still massacres the sparrow anyway, and he tries to throw her in a dungeon and she reveals that she's going to tell everybody he's nothing but an incest baby, then he chokes her to death? I dont fucking know lol

One thing we know about Cersei...she loves her kids. No way in hell she does that to Tommen.

lol... that part was pretty predictable, i knew no horse would come back then she'd come flying back on the Dragon.

As far as Daenerys needing to "go through some shit" to get Drogon back, we never got that far in the books did we? I'm pretty sure her storyline "ended" with her wandering around like you described after surviving off of scraps left by Drogon then he abandons her once he heals a bit basically, and she gets surrounded by the Khalasar

Cersei would not sacrifice her son for Margery...she will find a way to kill her without her son taking a direct hit.
I know, but it's obvious she's lost him to Margaery now, she wouldn't be sacrificing anything I'm talking about a last resort desperate type situation where she has nothing left to lose. There was a point in time where Jaime was on her shitlist remember? No one thought that would happen either

It's been about 5 years and 150 books since I read it, but I think that she was at the fighting pits, whipped Drogon and got him under control, and then he took her to his caves. Then he left her. But there was still a point where she was actually learning to ride and control him.

The first part with the fighting pits yeah, but I think that was the first and only time she rode Drogon, and I think he even tried to kill her cause he burned off all her hair. Then he took her to his lair and it wasn't even clear if he was loyal to her or what. He went off and killed something and then flew off when all the Dothraki showed up, or I dunno lol it's been about 5 years and several books for me too

^^ After he drops her off, he is following her, and I personally thought that he was wild, but loyal to her at that point. I think its implied that she has a strong connection with Drogon. She shouldn't be able to control him at all. All the old Targaryens used spells to bind the dragons to them. Her and Drogon are so bonded that she can ride him without using any types of spells. I just would have liked to see a little bit more than her going out and fetching a stray dragon.
