Anyways, enough with that. I've felt all season it's building up to a big finish so despite a few goofy mistakes in last nights episodes, 9 & 10 can make up for it.
I kind of came out raging after that episode but I guess it wasn't THAT bad... it's not as bad as The Walking Dead cliffhanger or the fact that they're going to kill off one of their major characters next season and are now suing people who talk about it online, even though it's part of the comic books lol. I pretty much have the same feelings. Bastard Bowl will be epic... but I have a feeling Episode 10 will be the best yet. Have a feeling the wall is coming down and the white walkers are going to rape castle black, and the real show will begin.

BUTCHER 206 @BUTCHER 206 Thanks mate you saved me a bunch of typing haha.

I was highly disappointed by the Arya story. Even more so by Jaqar just like shrugging his shoulders (same thing 2-0-Sixx pointed out).

If you are going to kill the Blackfish, at least put the fighting on scene. How fucking weak they are just like "the blackfish died off camera, we decide not film the most exciting part of that scene, nothing to see here"
Yeah I feel like the Arya storyline didn't have much substance there and didn't really make sense to begin with. I took Jesus just kind of shrugging at Arya as kind of like, he was proud of how strong she was and the little part of himself that cared for her was glad that she turned away before it was too late. They really hammered in that "it is all the same to the many faced god" and since the Waif killed the actress and that contract was ultimately fulfilled, and since there was no contract on Arya only a life owed, and the Waif filled in for that life owed, that he couldn't do anything anyway. I was hoping there'd be more to it like there was a test or it'd be more to it than what we saw... but if that's what it took to get Arya the hell out of that place and back to meaningful character progression rather than regressing into "no one", then I'll take it

By far the worst episode I've ever seen, that shit was fucking terrible.

The Hounds revenge arc was so fucking horribly done. Hacks some people up then nothibg, no catharsis no anything. Throw out any deep intricate character development and theories cause once again it's just terrible writing. He even pulled out his cock and literally pissed on the lady Stoneheart theory when they brought back Beric Dondarrion and had him piss in the river. A big "fuck you fans" if i ever saw one.

This episode makes it extremely clear GRRM has made the show what it is. It's good because they took the content from the books . There are no books anymore and the show is utter shit. It's so corny and cliche now it makes me sick. We've got next week's bastard bowl which will be epic, and who the fuck knows what happens after that. I am not confident at all in these writers and the direction the shows heading and it's all GRRM's fault the fat fucking neckbeard slob piece of shit. He'll never finish this shit. The last two books fucking sucked they were a mess they lost the pace and voice that made them good to begin with and it's only going to get worse.

We're all idiots for getting into this show and i swear to god if daenerys dies im going to murder grrm in real life
totally agree w all this, episode had it's moments but...something's missing overall this entire season

those arya theories were waaay more intricate than the actual show tho lol, talmbout the silhouette of syrio's shoulder pads and hair lolol, littlefinger's man whore spy. come to find out they just used the same extra in the background for several different scenes lol, shit is actually hilarious, fans are thirsting for more than what the show is serving up

found some spoilers for next episode, I'll post them up when I get a chance 2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx

(jk dude, calm down)

tully motto is "family duty honor"
blackfish says fuck all that I wanna sword fight 10000 lannisters in a stairwell
Good catch. Yeah it really did not make sense at all for him to come back, give an epic bad ass speech then just die off screen the next episode lol. Then again they brought in the well respected Ian McShane then killed him the same episode

I am finding consolation in the fact I agree with the notoriously positive 2-0-Sixx and Butcher 206 on their critique of the episode - and that most of the commentary on Reddit is equally angered.
You keep agreeing with them and I'm going to post spoilers.

There's a chance they can "fix" this later or clean it up, if say, for example, they later reveal Jesus dude is in on a bigger picture and it's Arya's destiny or whatever to assassinate someone important and Jesus dude simply put her through all that knowing his goal was to teach her not to become no one, but rather to stop running away from who she is, Arya Stark. That could actually make perfect sense.

I'm going with my theory they filmed a scene, 70 year old actor looked like shit and they scrapped it lol. Only logical explanation. With that said, it would have been a million times better if he bounced with Brianne and became a military advisor to Jon/Sansa. Missed opportunity but I'm guessing they are wrapping up minor roles very quickly from here on out since the story is progressing quickly to the White Walkers vs Hero's plot and there won't be time or any point to mess around with anyone else. Although if that's the case, just cut out the whole Riverrun siege completely, kind of pointless now.

Also just want to briefly touch on Jamie. I don't think his arc reverted back to a bad guy. His speech to Edmure was him acting, basically saying fuck it, if he thinks I'm just the ruthless Kingslayer, then I'll be the Kingslayer and lay it on extra thick. It worked. He saved thousands of lives. His waive to Brianne confirmed he's still "good guy Jamie" that he developed into.

Also, my theory now without Clegane bowl is that Cersei is going to try to "burn then all" with hidden wildfire in her last effort and Jamie will be returning to kings landing just as this is going down so he will have to slay her, just as he slayed the Mad King. Her attempting to kill her son and the entire city pushes him over the edge, killing her and this fulfilling the prophecy.

Yeah it's possible I am just disappointed there was so many options here and the one we get is basically the worst haha.

Also like many people on Reddit are saying, they should have made the stabbing less intense. 0% chance Arya survives multiple stab wounds to the abdomen with 5inch blade, from an assassin, followed by jumping into dirty water.

You are probably right about that. However, they still could have done something cool just by making it gory. The fight scene could have been minimal but maybe the Blackfish gets captured, has some good dialogue with Jamie, and then in a suicidal mission grabs a sword of a solider nearby and gets cut down by one of the Lannister men with the sword coming out of his eyes/chest/ears/etc.

Anything would be better than, oh btw Blackfish died.

Yeah I didn't mind the Jamie arc much. I think his oscillation between good and bad is realistic of a conflicted person. We all go back and forth on stuff, no reason he should be immune to that.

I wish the Zombie Mountain killed more of the faith militant. Just killing that 1 dude was a bit of a let down. I thought he would get turned loose like a rabid dog and just lay waste to all of them. Like single swings from his sword cutting 4 guys in half at the same time.

This was main problem with it, just wasn't realistic at all. If they want to go with a straight forward, nothing crazy sequence of events, fine, just do it right. They went extra Hollywood which doesn't fit at all with Game of Thrones. That was more like some typical 80s/90s action flick. Whatever though, I'm actually excited she's headed back to Westeros and if she hooks up with Nymeria? Dope as hell.

All they had to do was show him pull out his sword, say some witty and/or heroic line and cut to black. I suppose though since we didn't actually see him die there's a chance he didn't. In the books he disappears and no one knows where he is, so perhaps there's a small chance his men let him go and told Jamie he died, but it doesn't make much sense in that he would have just left with Brianne if that was the case.

That one kill was a pretty epic mortal kombat fatality though. He's definitely not done killing. He's going to kill a fuck load of Faith Militants before he finally dies for good.
