I've been listening to rap since the Chronic ( I was only like 8-9 years old when it came out ), know damn near everything there is to know about rap ( try me ), and am just flat out disgusted with it over the last year and a half. I've got a billion valid reasons why. I even know of those shitty cali rappers that get dickrode on this site, don't question my knowledge of the art form. And my extensive knowledge is the ONLY reason I would speak on it like that.

There is only so far you can go with vocals and a beat machine. It's just so simple. Singing and actual musical instruments ( ever heard of them ) are the standard and the future and will ALWAYS remain the dominant style of music long after rap is done for.

At least Kanye speaks on his personal feelings, instead of pretending to be super killer/ drug dealer like 95% of every rapper out there.

You're absolutely wrong, a lot of mid 90s hip-hop that was just "vocals and beat machine" is actually a lot more melodic and has much more "music" in it that 90% of the R&B you hear on the radio today, not to mention the autotune rap.

He's a rapper that wears red rags, you'll like him. But sometimes he wears blue ones.....so you might not like him for that :ermm:
