Like out of state or from nor cal to so cal and vice versa? I've been wanting to try something new, perhaps in another part of the state or out of state really. Anyone have any experiences? Was it worth it?

If I had the opportunity, I would in a heartbeat. depends on where your going. I mean you got an income. If your job supplies housing thats another plus. You get to experience and party in a different environment, meet new people and fuck different type bitches.

moved from the bay to michigans upper peninsula. 36hour drive. left job to start my own thing with a guy I knew out there, made alot of money.... then lost alot of money. Now im back to square one. :knockout:

I would of stayed out there if money didnt stop coming in, nothing to do really but it's a beautiful place.

Learned alot though, was well worth it.

I have a couple times, it's hard to say, overall I think its a good thing. It's hard to find a new group of people to hang out with and its work to maintain your old friendships. But it broadens your horizons and gives you a lot of new experiences. Also, you can sometimes get a better job by moving than staying where you are now.

I would say that its much easier to do when you are in your early 20s than when you are 25+ because more people by that age have their set group of friends and its harder to meet people.

It really comes down to what kind of person you are and where you are in your life -- if you mind going somewhere not knowing anyone and see new places and do new things or would you rather stick with your home turf and close friends and fam. That all depends on your personality and priorities.

I think I win...I moved from Germany to China for my job. First they just wanted me to stay for a year, but now I'm already here for 5 years and don't work for them anymore...

For me it was worth it. I wouldn't have had many chances of getting promotions etc. in my company as I never finished highschool. So this was the opportunity to get more experience and shit. And as it was only for on year at first, I thought that even if it sucks big time, I would be back after a year. But soon I met cool people, some real friends, met my wife and so on. And the City I live in is pretty awesome. Of course there are things I miss like my family and homies etc., but you can't have it all.

Luckily my company has tons of opportunities all over the place. Mainly I was thinking somewhere like Arizona since it's close to So Cal or Vegas or the midwest. Somewhere cheaper where I can buy 2 or 3 houses for the price of one here in Cali where I'm at. I am always googeling best places to live and shit with crime indexes and unemployment rates by the way. I also like those cost of living calculators lol.

Yeah, but dont forget the reason cost of living is low in some places is because nobody wants to live there because it sucks! Places like Oklahoma City and Bloomington, Indiana always are at the top of those lists. Have fun! (nothing personal to anyone from there, I've never been either spot so wtf do i know anyways)

Life is too short to stay in one place.?

That's dope Mike.

I've actually considered India/Kentucky/Ohio area since my girl has family out there it would make a move easier for her. We also go there like once a year and I always check out prices of houses and shit and it is insane compared to northern cali. I am a real independent person and I really don't need to kick it with other people. In no way am I anti social, but I can easily make new friends and what not. As long as I am near sporting events and a good size town I am legit.
