Yeah the boundaries of districts are really vague, but I would consider everything you could possibly think of as part of a district. Who cares if the boundaries are broken and then start again (mission, bernal heights, then mission again). I would consider some parts past Army st still part of the mission. It's outer mission. I consider the Excelsior the outer mission too.

i mean i was born at general and lived on 26th and folsom but then i moved to my granmas house which is on mission and appleton(like 3 blocks up from 30th) which is technically bernal heights. but out here in the east bay when people ask me what part of frisco im from i say the mission because its where i was born,when to school,and spent most my time at plus no one outside the city knows what the fuck bernal heights is.

Honestly who the fuck cares about Wikipedia.. from the first line "formally called Bernal" Who the fuck calls it bernal? And what would you call Mission and Appleton or Alemany, all that area is kinda gray area. That's why the districts are hella vague. I'm sure they must have some sorta official system since they have district supervisors who are all full of shit anyway, but who cares. Of course not all those districts make the mission district, but what it means is that parts of those districts can easily belong to the mission district instead.
