Why would Canada celebrate Thanksgiving when it's supposed to be the "first" thanksgiving between the Algonkian Indians and the Pilgrims they helped after having landed at Plymouth Rock in the 1620's?

What does that have to do with Canada? Plymouth Rock is in America, and so were the Pilgrims, and the Indians, and the first thanksgiving.

Canadians are really that pathetic that they can't just stick with French traditions like not shaving or cleaning yourself?

america didn't exist when the pilgrims came over... it wasn't a celebration of just what would become the us and indians, but between everyone who lived in any territory inhabited by the european immigrants and the indians. sure it was mainly at plymouth rock that the indians helped the pilgrims, but if it wasn't for their help, then people wouldn't have left the area surrounding plymouth rock for they would have all died.

yeah, fuck canada, for their friendly people, lower crime, cleaner air, and better medical coverage!

we americans don't need that shit, we do things our own way!

You know there's only a few times I write a long reply and then look at it, throw my hands in the air, shake my head, and say "Fuck it", but I'm sure at least 95% or them are replies to you.

LoL.
