GREAT GAME. I'M GLAD HINES DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT FUMBLE.
I hear you, but honestly I wasn't to upset for the veteran Hines. Ward very rarely ever fucks up like that. If he does, I would rather it be in a early season game rather than a Playoff Game. Hines also has already did so much for the team over the years, this wouldn't have been shit if Pittsburgh lost tonight.

Did you see that bad has block he did on The Steelers next Offensive possession? That's Bad Ass Hines for you!!!

to me though he didn't really fuck up as much as it was a great defensive play, everyone fumbles i don't care who the fuck you are, hines saw the goal line and not the defender, shit sucked, but great heads up defense nonetheless.
and you know he was gonna come back knockin heads off, haha.

Polamalu suffers MCL sprain
Posted by Tom Curran on September 11, 2009 12:25 AM ET

In the aftermath of the Steelers 13-10 overtime win over Tennessee to open the NFL season, the question that needed answering was how long would Troy Polamalu be lost.

Thankfully for Steelers fans - and, let's be honest, football fans as a whole - it appears Polamalu will be back this season. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said in his postgame press conference that Polamalu suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee when he was rolled into by Tennessee's Alge Crumpler.

Tomlin said team doctors were still "reading the scans." He added that MCL injuries "have a range of three to six (weeks) but that's speculation at this point."

Asked if it's possible it could be a longer-term injury than that, Tomlin said, "I'm sure it's possible but we don't have any concrete evidence it's worse than that."

The Steelers play at Chicago a week from this Sunday. They then play the Bengals and Chargers. If he's back on the early side, Polamalu would be ready for the next three Pittsburgh games against the Lions Browns and Vikings. If it takes the full six weeks, he may not be back until Week 9 at Denver. Pittsburgh has a bye in Week 8.

real good game. how's polomalu? I haven't read any other pages
After the game, I watched Tomlin's interview and he said Polamalu sprained the MCL in his knee. It's usually a 4-6 week recovery. Who really knows this early though? We will know later in the weekend after they run some tests...

Troy got injured, and if Fitz gets injured, then I don't think any NFL player will want to be on next years Madden cover. Troy was tearing it up tonight.
