Lockz gassed homie..... Not to say JBlaze was weak cuz he had some cleaver punch lines n metaphors but I think Locksmith got him on this, but pretty close! Fav line by Lockz was "book a marachi band tell em this is for the raza, but instead of throwin flowers they be thrownin chips n salsa" hahaha line had me rollin.

In all of those Grindtime Battles Lock has been going to the other dudes Hometown and doing what he needs to do showing off his skills as an MC, Reppin for the West and the Bay plus promoting the new project and IMGMI as a label/ brand. Now the reason most battle rappers never make is because that's all they have is battle bars that don't appeal to the general public...I know that won't be the case with Lock's album. And if you really think about it most gangsta rappers, hyphy rappers, crunk rappers, underground rappers and mainstream rappers FAIL...so it's not just the Battle circut. Failure is apart of the game and we should know that quite well in the Bay with how many rappers we all know that didn't make it to even sniff the top or be seen. At the end of the day you have to make good music, hustle your ass off, then be lucky enough to catch a break and pounce on top of it.

this battle was close, Lock was sicc but he wasnt even on his best game. I seen the other battlers get torn apart. if they rematch lock will eat em up so there is no "dispute". when that album dropping? most anticipated in awhile

I've seen most of the grind times, Johnny Storm is one of the better ones. A lot of his lines that got oohs and ahhs are references to past grind time battles.

Lock won, but he didn't kill him, he has way better delivery though. Storm had a lot of good lines but Lock had a bit more.

locksmith definitely had way better delivery and control than johnny storm.

I know everyone is ok with it but i always thought battles where dudes wrote their verse are weak. I will never really be impressed by that shit. I want to see off the top of the head freestyles and i want them to counter the other person's diss to display some real mc shit. I mean in this battle Lock's prepared verses were dope but it ain't no type of freestyle battle. It's a battle of written verses. I've mentioned shit like this on here hella times but i guess im the only one who cares about this element of battling.
