So I assume the cd being peddled at $39.99 buy-it-now's on ebay by seller rest_in_peace_pimp out of wisconsion aka a few accounts on amazon (one being we_ship_fast where he suspiciously has brand new sealed versions, millions of copies of the same stuff out there at ridiculously cheap prices), his cd is obviously the re-isssue correct? The fucker will not respond to emails asking him about the damn cd, so now we know why. Passing it off as something it is not, imagine that. He even went as far as to say we only have 1 more left in an auction description, then I see 3 or 4 more go on buy-it-now's by him right after. Check his amazon listing, I'm sure you can buy like 20 from him :)

Mak, I guess when you live with the conditions I live with on a daily basis you would tend to be negative. I'm sorry man, I speak from the heart. And I try to do my best to inform and expose when our hobby/business gets blemished or insulted. I would prefer to have all good things to say about it, but anyone who frequents ebay and other online sites would know there are those misrepresenting stuff and those going as far as selling illegitimate reprinted/cd-r garbage. You can't prevent it, but you can educate yourself so it doesn't happen to you.

^^care to elaborate a little bit more? I realize that we have a legit list, and a block bidders list, but we dont have a list for sellers with fake CDs......maybe you can put the rest of us up on game, sean-sean. thanks in advance...

And in the case of this dude selling fake/reprinted Graveyard Soldjas albums (if they are fake/reprinted), and lets say I bought one, wouldnt I be able to get a refund from paypal/ebay because his item description says it is brand new and sealed in its original factory sealed plastic.....? And I have been reading around the forum here, and I am fully aware of your stance on the ebay/paypal company, but maybe you can give me an unbiased answer please, and thanks...

I am not saying rest_in_peace_pimp is selling reprinted graveyard soldjas. I am saying he is most likely selling the re-release and passing it off as original. And by ignoring any emails sent to him asking about it, that only makes me feel that is true. After all show some character, he's on there with the time to post up his stuff to sell, yet he can't invest a few minutes to respond to emails? Along with the fact he said he had only 1 left and yet he has sold close to 6 already that I've seen, along with his amazon listing where you can buy many more. And I can tell you personally he has sold me re-shrink wrapped (resealed) back up cd's that were not og's in the past. As far as refunds, yes you can pursure a refund. But the problem is that it shouldn't go to that point. I just sold a cd on ebay and it was EXACTLY as described yet they filed the bogus claim to get their money back. Matter of fact, have had this happen now twice in the last 3 weeks. Guys are abusing paypal and filing "not as described" disputes. As you already know, I have the remedy. And I will not lose. But any other seller who doesn't know this, would end up losing. Far too many b.s. claims go through on ebay/paypal and suffice to say anyone can get their money back pretty easily. Go right ahead and buy it, I just would not want to go through any hassles personally and am done BUYING on ebay permanently. Way too maNy classless and integrity challenged people there for my tastes and I will not patronize that company for anything other than selling my own stuff. And technically I don't patronize them for that either. And as I said, when I sell an item that is exactly as described and 100% legit, yet I have scum trying to file garbage claims about them being "not as described" then I know something is wrong with the system. It is difficult to be unbiased. Just protect yourself is the best advice I can give you without going into the whole "sinking to their level" being the only true way to actually make some money on ebay speech...

I inquired and he wrote me back in a timely manner, this is what he had to say:

"yeah right-we have been in the music business for over 25 years-we own 3 stores in the milwaukee area & we are affiliated with over 25 others in the us -cd have come straight from the artist themselves-we have never sold an item that was not an original cd-we have been selling on amazon for over 8 years & ebay for 7 years, gemm for 4 years - whom ever you get your information from is trying to run some sort of scam"

you ever think he might have a life OFF ebay? Maybe hes busy taking a shit, doing some laundry, or spending time with his kids. who the fuck knows, i dont know anybody, besides you it seems, that sits around on their ass all day waiting to respond to e-mails and forum posts right away...\

edit....and even if he WAS trying to pass off the re-release as the original, he's got the picture of the original on the description page, if the RR has completely different artwork, then the item would be a perfect candidate for a paypal claim because it is not as described....

I don't care what he perpitrates. He took 5 days (and 5 of the same email over and over again from me) to respond just once. And has sold re-sealed up cd's that were not og's in the past. That and the fact why all of a sudden would he have a million copies for sale now when coincidentally the re-issue popped up on cdbaby, and other places right now? So if you think its the og more power to ya ma man, go ahead and buy it ahahahaha. You two will make for another prototypical ebay/paypal cd claim. What did you really think he'd fess up and admit to it? If you did I'm sorry I gave you any credit for having intelligence as I did. That's like asking derrick glass (getoblasta), hey man, do you sell reprinted cd's? You asked for my help/opinion. I don't give a fuck if you believe it or not, just don't insult someone who is trying to help you and spread the truth. I also don't give a fuck whether you think someone has a life or not based on whether they post on a cocksucking make believe message board forum or not. Some of us are barely physically able to be on a computer at times (hint hint) or leave the house for that matter (and are up at times you aren't because we have insomnia) , and yet we still answer our emails from others responsibly.
