Do you know of any reputable/well established graphic design agencies or graphic designers on the West Coast who do a lot of music industry (preferably Hip Hop) related work?

I'm asking because I'm looking for an internship. Thanks in advance!

Yeah there are a few people/agencies that I have my eye on, I'm just trying to see what all my options are. I know there has to be a few out there that I have not heard of.

I'm in my last year of college and I'm getting a BS is Graphic Design. I also have three years of freelance experience under my belt, so I need to get paid! I'm either looking for a good internship or an entry level position at a reputable agency or with a reputable designer.

I'm also located in San Diego, but I'm willing to move it's worth my wile when I graduate.

Fuck Rap, you studied that shit, go out to the world and make some corporate money. Thats the real money! Do rap shit on the side ... like on the weekends, do some real shit during the week to see some real money. There are a lot of cats that make money of rap, but its getting less and less + most people that do rap stuff work there ass off, relax a bit and get half the work but double the money in the corparate world, with less headache. A lot of rap jobs turn out to be headache cause of big artist egos. Just my 2 cents. And yes, I make my main money with Rap.

unless your photo doctor graphics....lol

made pro seems to be in steady business though as well as LYA Graphics (DubbAA) as far as bay area goes....

tosin and quasian cant be doing too bad either with all the work they stay posting....

i say dont listen to others and sticc to what you good at and like to do....cuz ive had a graphic designer job working for the local FAST SIGNS and they are a corporate chain that sells franchises to smaller business owners and they werent paying me much plus i was designing ads and signs that generated a lot of money for a lot of folks except me and I cant even get credit.....like the stoccton arena has had all the advertisements for real estate companies and other local business designed by fast signs so i created a lot of shit that nobody knows i designed and i cant use that shit in my portfolio....plus they give you way too many restrictions and tone down creativity.....

i personally would be much happier working freelance and designing for my own clients....its damn near paying as much as the lousy 12 an hour they were giving me when i started there.....and im happier working from home.....
