Dre been my favorite rapper since '93,but him and ODB are on 2 totaly different levels.ODB is a grammy nominee.dude sold millions all over the world......
Mac Dre is (no disrespect) a nobody to mainstream U.S.we love him and to us hes the biggest thing that'll ever be.he sells alot (for INDIE MUSIC) in Nor Cal and a scoop of people are on him in other states,but ODB sells more in Nor Cal and sells all over the world.i wouldnt hold my breath for him to get a mention in the California Music Awards............

mac dre is dope as fuck, but i would have fainted if they ever mentioned him on the grammys. the grammys is as main stream as it gets. as far as ODB getting mentioned, thats because he has his name stamped on over 50 million records. to be honest i would be suprised to hear mac dre's name in the source magazine. fuck all them anyways, mac dre was ours and if the media outside the bay dont give him love, it's our job to keep his name ringin till the end of time. here's a promise, if and when my camp ever wins a grammy, the first mention will be a shout out to one of the true greats of all time MUTHA FUCKIN MAC DRE..... You cant let something like this upset you. It took forever for HipHop alone to get some on air time during the Grammys, let alone an indie rapper that was big in a few markets. They probably dont know who he is let alone that he passed away. Lets just be happy we are seeing his face show up in some of these mainstream publications. Ol' Dirty was nominated for a Grammy and caused havoc at the grammys back in like 95. Trust me, the academy probably didnt even want to put his pic up there. But, if they didnt the community would have been out raged. As far as Kanye being a dork. I dont know where that comes from. What classifies you as a dork now a days?? If u aint talking about shootin a muthafucka up, sellin shit on the block or reppin your turf on every song? Read between the bars and then you will see why Kanye did that Jesus walks track. Creativity is key to longevity!!
ODB (rip) smoked crack...got robbed in Toronto tryin' to buy shit in Regent Park (although I heard he came back to defend it and shot up a section of the park)..but my point is, if ur gonna pay tribute to a crackhead who runs around and makes babies, and cant support them-why not acknowledge Mac Dre the Pizza Bandit

First of all, i bet executives at CBS are embarrassed that they even had to mention ODB's crackhead ass on there. Second of all, I don't need to know mac dre to know that he is a delinquent. look at the guy. look at what he was up to. he was obviously up to no good why the hell would he get murdered? he was just some thug ghetto guy like the rest that are all dead or in jail, he just happened to make tight music that's all.
