AIGHT JUST RECENTLY DID A HAND DRAWN PIECE FOR A SHIRT DESIGN. ANYWAYS THE DRAWING HAVE A ALOT OF DETIAL THAT I DONT WANT TO LOSE YA KNOW. SO I WANTED TO KNOW WHATS THE BEST THING TO USE FOR HAND DRAWN PIECES TO GET THEM OFF PAPER ONTO MY COMPUTER SCREEN TO COLOR AND STUFF. DO I NEED TO USE A BAD ASS SCANNER, IF SO WHAT KIND DO YOU RECOMMEND WITH THE BEST QUALITY OR DO I NEED TO INVEST IN A WACOM TABLET NEXT TIME I DO A HAND DRAWN PIECE. SO IF YOU COULD PLEASE HELP ME OUT. IM REALLY STOKED ABOUT HOW THIS 2 PIECE HAND DRAWN WORK CAME OUT, AND WOULD HATE TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT. ANYWAYS DROP ANY SUGGESTIONS.....

Dude it's easy if you put some thought into it. If you don't want to re illustrate it, scan it. If you wan't to do it digitally, do it in photoshop. Those are your options.

MAN I CANT DRAW AS FREELY AS I CAN ON REGULAR PAPER. IF YOU TALKING BOUT USING THE PEN TOOL, THAT WONT WORK AS GOOD AS MY HAND CAN. BUT IM A SEE ABOUT A SCANNER AND ALSO A WACOM PAD....

SCAN IT AT A HIgH DPI. THEN USE FILTERS IN PHOTOSHOP TO BRINg IT OUT. YOU MIgHT WANT TO LOSE THE COLOR IF IT'S NOT IN COLOR AND JUST PENCIL ,BY PUTTIN' IT IN gRAY MODE AND THEN BAK TO RgB MODE(OR CMYK IF YOU PLAN TO PRINT IT). THEN EITHA USE THE BURN TOOL OR CHANgE THE BLENDIN' CHANgE TO "BURN" OR "MULTIPLY", OR WHATEVA BLENDIN' CHANgE BRINgS IT OUT MORE AND EVEN FUK WITH THE CONTRAST.
JUST A SUgKESTION.

the $300 EPSON scanners work great.....
u can find tutorials online bout tips for cleaning up scanned drawings
after theyre in the computer.....if i knew where they were right now id link ya....
but i havent needed em for a while....
is it already in color? if not i have an action that will clean up the b&w very nicely,
preparing it for coloring in the comp.........

ok sounds good. and no i have not colored it and yeah still working on getting a scanner. kinda in a bind at the moment bout to get a new car that i need and moving at the same time so. yeah it might be a minute before i post up some hand drawn shit.
