What's goin' down. Just last night I got a speeding ticket for going 80 on a 60zone. I didn't have my L's on me, and my insurance was not up to date. Some cats told me that I was lucky for the simple fact that the officer did not impound my ride. I'm pissed because this is actually my first ticket, and I'm not to sure how the fine is going to be with a senario like mine. No L's, and no updated insurance. How much do you think this going to be? Should I go to traffic school? I live Cali by the way.

and to make shit even more fucked, my girl called me 30 minutes later telling me how she got pulled over too! She told me that the officer said "It's a busy night!"

JUST HAVE YOUR INSURANCE UPDATED AND HAVE A LICENSE IF POSSIBLE WHEN YOU GO TO COURT AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE. THEY SHOULD ALLOW YOU TO DO TRAFFIC SCHOOL.

WHAT!?! Traffic School online? Or do you mean, pay the fine online? Traffic school online would be better than spending 8hrs of my life sitting down and going over traffic laws.

If you weren't insured at the time you got pulled over your gonna get taxed...regardless if you update it AFTER you got pulled over and even if its valid when you go to court.


The liscense isn't a big deal...as long as you can remember your drivers liscense number you're cool..

You should go to traffic school...if you don't want a point on your record...but the insurance and speeding are whats gonna fuck you because they don't just lower the tickets anymore like they used to.

Plan on spending a couple hundred bucks.

BTW They couldn't have towed your car unless you were driving UNREGISTERED or under the influence.

the speeding violation will stay there..but if you get your insurance and L's...the judge will throw that away and you'll only pay the speeding fine..which is like 300 dollars..but if ya dont have ins or your l's..its gonna be like 800-900 dollars

i got a ticket for 86 in a 50, in Cali and the total was 350 bucks.
look to pay less than that for just the speeding ticket alone, i think its like 10 bucks per mile over or some shit
online traffic school is SO easy, you just keep takin the test, fail, press back, and fix what u think is wrong, and submit again. its funny but thats how it worked for me

take traffic school online from any of the 800 sites that offer it... lol... and most of them compete with each other to see whos the "easiest".

i chose one that sounded good and i finished in 15 mins online, while drunk off my fuckin ass. just open 2 windows... read the first window... and choose the correct boxes in the 2nd window.


unless of course , your ticket says "Online traffic school not applicable", sometimes they do that to fuck with you.

they look at the date you got the ticket and if you didnt have insurance then, it doesnt matter if you get it before court or not, you have to pay...probably somwhere near 1,000 bucks...unless the judge is cool

...yes you can do traffic school online...it will take less time than going in person, but it will take real work...plan on losing a few hours from your day as opposed to 8, but its work...

man i got a ticket on 152 near los banos coming towards san jo, doin 89 in a 50 or some shit, and i paid that bitch off thru the mail, i hate goin to court, that ticket was a bean bitch tho!

online traffic school didnt take long at all for me, maybe an hour or hour and a half, even got to take a blunt break. cant do that at traffic school hahah

When I went to court for my last ticket I didnt have registration when I got pulled over and the judge asked if my car was registered now and I told him yes. He didnt even look at the paper or anything. I was doing 80 in a 60 and got off with a $60 fine including paying the court for trafic school.
