my 96 deville died on me as well, same car as dana has, im whippin my 92 eldo touring coupe wit almost 250k miles n it runs like a champ, might invest in a new engine n super charger for it within the next year....

if you have this motor, your better off....

if you have this motor, you'll be fucked if not all ready fucked.....this engine is a real nightmare...4.9 v8

if you have an oldsmobile aurora....they came with "baby"nothstar engines...identical in design but smaller 4.0 v8.....another shit design

and then theres this fine piece of GM garbage....only found in some oldsmobile intrigues...this is designed off the northstar engine also....its a 3.5 v6...another baby northstar

also .....if you ever look into a pontiac bonneville GXP edition

they come with northstar v8's......notice the re-badged pontiac logo on the engine cover
