Why would a vet compare his salary OR performance to that of a rookie, when he could just as easily compare it to another vet? Do you think Chad Johnson is going to compare hiself to Colston....or TO?

That argument holds no weight. And ESPN is still retarded when it comes to their own "expertise". You should have seen the article written yesterday on the situation by one of their staffers...guy had some valid points scattered, but overall, it was a bunch of hot-ass air.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do. If you want that player on your team you gotta break him off... vet or rookie. I don't see why the NFL should discriminate against rookies. If they're worth that much and a team is willing to pay then why hate?
