a good place that has some quality stuff at some good prices is Jersey Joes in San Carlos they known for the philly cheessteaks bomb ass stuff they also got fish and chips and the burgers are good 2..

Your making me miss living in Berkeley I lived right down the street from that Everett and Jones but never ate there because I was too broke.

Any one ever had pho noodles they got a chain of them here in sac called hoa veit it's bomb you get a bowl of noodles with charbroiled pork or beef and shrimp it's not a soup tho they give you lil cup of sauce to add to it im sure they have some spots like this in the bay

right on.

uppin my food game. i have eaten at alot places mentioned though. anybody know any good indian/afghan food spots? my nephews folks mom made a dirty rice dish onetime with some goat. the meat was hella tender and i been sold eversince. there was a time i refused to eat this kinda food, but because i make my kid try everything, i got stick to the script too.

Most likely caught them off the San Francisco Municipal Pier off of Van Ness near the Fort! Me and my brother-n-law go crabbing there once in a while..... Yeah the crabs stink but they're hogger when boiled with lemon juice, pieces of garlic cloves, butter and salt n pepper on a portable propane stove, DON'T forget some nice cold Modelos on ice!

gotta be careful what indian place u go to though i was watching the news and they showed restaruants that dont be following health standards like employees not washing their hands or using old ingredients. there was an indian place in frisco they said there was maggots in their food or some shit. news put them on blaassttt aahhahaaha

you can look at the customers and get a feel for the resturant most of the time though. if alot of older folks as in retired are dining, more than likely its cool. take a look around and that will let you know. imo.

Oh, I almost forgot. Menara Moroccan Restaurant on Gish in SJ. Reasonable prices (about $27 per head. Dinner takes about 2 hours, because they serve by course. Be ready to dance, too...cause they have belly dancers and shit that go from table to table and pull your ass up. Oh, all tables are on the ground...you sit on floor cushions or on this long padded bench. Everybody is half laying down and eating. BEST dinner experience I've ever had.

Oh yea, you eat with your hands, too.
