If you do Gangster rap, street cred and good music are one in the same, how?

its sad to say, you can have a rapper sound like gilbert gotfried and rap off beat like a mofo but if he went and murked a few muffuccas he still gonna push some units thanks to the consumer's who listen to an album based on what the artist is about and not the quality of music...
