Golden State isn't expected to make a qualifying offer to PF Anthony Tolliver.
This move serves a few purposes -- it saves the Warriors' 15th roster spot and clears more minutes for Anthony Randolph and Brandan Wright. It may also be a message to coach Don Nelson, who loved Tolliver last season and allowed him to play over 32 minutes per game.

The Warriors will not extend a qualifying offer to center Chris Hunter, making him an unrestricted FA.
The pool of FA big men in shallow enough that Hunter, a rugged 6'11" PF/C, should find an NBA bench to keep warm.

Warriors GM Larry Riley said his team will exend qualifying offers to guards Anthony Morrow and C.J. Watson.
This move gives Golden State the ability to match any offers for their restricted FAs, who will likely be asked to earn their minutes off the bench.

Got this from another forum...

KNBR just said that a 3-team trade is in the work between Pacers, Warriors, and New Orleans Hornets. No real names were said but they did said it might be between Chris Paul.

and i hate tolliver, they made the wrong choice of him over hunter. tolliver has 0 potential. 0 athleticism. and he is too small. nellie just likes him because hes the size of a small forward that can play 4/5 and shoot 3's. fucking retard.

sure as fuck better not be any1 from the bumass hornets. they have 1 good player, and like 2 other players that are decent with potential.

that said, the pacers arent much better. but granger is a much better fit than cp3.

i like curry over cp3. and they cant play together. itd be a huge downgrade from ellis.

I dont see Indiana letting Granger go....It has something to do with Cp3 going to Indiana since they want a point guard.....Players I think that will be involved are...Monta Ellis or/and Biedrens...Okefor, Tj Ford maybe Hibbert and Troy Murphy..

True about the Pacers & Granger. But I think if they got CP3 and some other big name, they'd let Granger go.

And with CP3...I think the relationship with him and management has soured because the gm or someone said he was willing to trade CP3 around draft time. I guess that upset CP3 and recently he said he's open to being traded.

i misread that tolliver shit last page, i thought it said we were gonna give him a offer. phew. glad i messed up. heres another blurb behind that. it made me go back and double check.

The decision to not extend a qualifying offer to Tolliver likely has to do with numbers and the make-up of the team’s roster. The Warriors have 14 players under contract, including Morrow and Watson. If the Warriors were to extend a qualifying offer to Tolliver, it would mean their roster would stand at 15, which would take away a little flexibility if a two-for-one deal were to come up. Riley said on Monday that the Warriors will make qualifying offers to Anthony Morrow and C.J. Watson but will not extend one to center Chris Hunter. As for Anthony Tolliver, he’s not getting one, either, although Riley wouldn’t go so far as to confirm that. CSNBayArea.com

A pair of Serbians definitely won't be hitting the free-agent market. Agent David Bauman confirmed Monday two of his clients, New Orleans forward Peja Stojakovic and Golden State forward Vladimir Radmanovic, won't opt out of their contracts and become free agents July 1. "There's no decision to make,'' Bauman said in an interview with FanHouse. "They're not going to opt out.'' FanHouse.com

SHITHEADS! but we knew they wouldnt opt out of a contract they wouldnt be able to get half as much on the market

i would have rather had his money for the 1st. would make a much bigger impact with the depth of free agents now.
