In the old books, they say God and the devil used to be good friends. Some even go as so far to call the devil God's favorite. It goes on to say that God and the devil used to play many games. The devil was very competitive and liked to challenge God in just about everything but always ended up loosing. Before the games even started the devil reminded God that God wasn’t allowed to use any of his powers to win the games.

One day, they played a chess-like game, and the devil was determined to win this round. The devil again asked God not to use any of his powers and God always truthful did as he asked. The devil had the last winning move against God, but God won the game in the end. The devil was frustrated loosing after another close game.

Thus, God created something one day out of clay and to a full-grown animal in front of the angels and the devil. A new born adult bewildered by his surroundings and started to scream and crawl. After awhile the devil asked God what was this thing he created. God told him it was a man and he planned on teaching him things.

For a long time the devil simply stared at this thing that lay on the ground which was frightened of everything, screaming, and couldn’t even walk on his two feet. The devil scuffed and told God that whatever that was he created was an idiot and couldn’t be taught anything. Then the devil had an idea: he had another challenge for God and said that God couldn’t teach this "man" anything if God didn’t use his powers. God agreed to this challenge and took this man he called Adam into paradise.

Time passed on, God taught Adam how to talk, walk, name things in his environment like the trees all the way to different type of fruits.

All of the angels were assembled in front of God and God brought out Adam. He asked Adam questions, had a conversation, asked Adam to name things and all of the angels were in shock. The devil was shocked and irritated how God just kept on winning. But this time things were different because God gave Adam status above the angels and told them all to bow down in front of Adam. They all did, but one.

The devil was outraged and refused to bow down to such a simple creature and refused. Then God did something the devil didn’t expect and banned the devil out of heaven.

Time passed, and finally Adam and Eve were thrown down to Earth for disobeying God. The devil stood there in heaven, which he was banned from coming in the first place. The devil wanted to challenge God again and said that more of the children of Adam would follow him to hell than they would follow God to heaven. God agreed.

So..... you think more people will go to heaven or hell?

I know I am limited by my human perspective, but ANYTHING for eternity seems like hell to me.

The story assumes that God made the wager on souls when in fact it was the souls themselves who made the wager. God doesn't throw souls into ignorance and suffering and expect them to come to Him. God simply supplies the souls with the facility to fulfill their desires. It is only that in the process of fulfilling our perverse desires we fall down into this mode of ignorance.

oh im sorry, i thought that you were being serious talkin about the "truth" thats why i laughed. didnt know it was just a scenerio

sorry

but yes, more people will go to hell, only because of how greatly vulnerable the mind/consciousness is.

one thing i dont get tho, if God is so powerful and can do anything which is COMPLETELY true, why did he NOT CHOOSE to get rid of satan when he went against him?
why did God with all his might allow satan to try and make the people blaspheme?
and not only that but you will have to put effort to find God, yet satan is there doing his job without you even acknowledging him or knowing he exists. so basically, satan has the first advantage.
especially with people like me who were born into islam, im tellin you right now if ive never found spirituality i would have stayed a muslim or converted to ANOTHER religion.
so now how many other religions are there?
too much power on satans side if you ask me.
and not only that, but if you fail you will be tortured in hell for ETERNITY for it.
ETERNITY....

this is one of the things i dont get about religions
and by the way im not looking for a reply, dont want to get deep into it just want to state my point of view.

EDIT2: nevermind heresy, i remember the answer.

you have to prove faith. After all they say: "no pain, no gain". And to the other dude who said heaven would be full of nerds...I don't think so. Ithink there will be killers, thieves, robbers all kind of people, who might have done morally bad things but not just to sin, but because God ordered it, or they didn't know right. Didn't Jesus roll with hos and lepers and all kind of fucked up people? I think gode favors those on the bottom, not some fake ass christians, jews, or muslims.
