I still think Mike Tomlin was a good pick. I used to think the Steelers D was in the Elite, but mixing Tomlin and LeBeau together has been promising. We got a first round pick on D waiting in the wings, Polamalu looks like he's back on all cylinders, and Ike has actually been playin well this year.
Having said that, Arians is a fucking moron and Ben is getting sacked like crazy. We might be a very very good run football team, but I've never seen our line as shitty in pass blocking as its been this year. Faneca is about to be gone, Marvel Smith is old, Starks is only half decent, Mahan isn't doing shit...its starting to piss me off know that I see how good Ben can play. Passing on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down when you're on the Jaguars side of the field in the snow with the NFL's leading rusher is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. So is giving the ball to Najeh Davenport on 3rd and 15 in your own territory. Arians keeps handing the ball off or running a screen on 3rd and long in a serious situation, and every fucking time he does it, we lose the game. I know Willie Parker isn't the best back between the tackles, but we don't win the game in the first and second quarter, we win the game in the 2nd half when we've beaten the fuck out of the defensive line and they finally let up big ass runs because they can't handle how many times we've pounded the ball at them. Fuck Bruce Arians.
We better step it up on our next two games. We got a 3 day break before we play the Rams. Then we finish off the with Ravens who just got embarassed and fuckin hate us and if the playoffs or the AFC North is on the line between us and the Browns on game 16, you know the Ravens are gonna punch of right in the mouth.
I'm real pissed off now that we're tied with the Browns. They finish off with the Bengals and 49ers and we only have a half game lead on the division.
