Exactly correct...
The life an environmental friendly citizen is hard to realize as an "American"
Look at the music we(hiphopgen) listen to..."Big cars, pimphoes, niceclothes, lavish life"...
Riding your bike and conserving are not what we are trying to do...We waste, and waste and waste...Gas, trash, everything-Bigger, better, newer...
I am totally aware of the effects my actions have on the planet...I use the internet, wash my clothes, impress people by wasting my current belongs to get better ones, and strive to collect the "GOODLIFE"...
I know that every little bit helps, and I try and do what i can, but until the GOVERNMENT wants to change things, GlobalWarming as a whole is not going to stop...
A trade in for total public transit has to be planned or else it will never stop...Rendering the 900,000,000,000 cars in the world useless will significantly reduce the damage being done...
BUT...
THAT WILLNEVER HAPPEN...
Because wewon'tlet it...
I'm also confident in he worlds ability to rehabilitate it self over time...So even if we all die in some great heat storm,with rising seas,and the whole nine yards, the earth over time will be fine...Even if that time is hundreds of thousands of years...

i listen to KGO from time to time and they have a broadcaster by the name of Dr. Bill Wattenberg. i always heard that even tho he was smart he was biased, couple nites ago i heard it first hand.. heres a convo he had with a caller, its not exactly word for word but from what i can remeber in a 2day span..
Caller: Hi, dr wattenberg, i had a question about global warming
Wattenberg: ok well what is your question? (agitated tone)
Caller: I just wanted to know what you thought about it..
Wattenberg: well its been proven that the earth is warming but there is no proof to say that its caused by humans for the fact that records proove the tempreture of the planet fluctuates..
Caller: Oh.. well what is causing it?
He contradicts himself
Wattenberg: well you have cars, plants and that- you kno...
(He catches his contradiction then blames the left wingers)
...Its these stupid stupid people who call themself greenies who made such a stink over nuclear power that the coal plants are producing more and more junk in our atmosphere..
Caller:wow... so then-
Wattenberg: So you can see the hipocracy of these left wing dunderheads who made such a racket over nuclear power but now are crying about global warning
Caller: Yeah, but-
Wattenberg: thank you for calling *click*

it's a shame to have all this energy focus on discuss other than action. we as a society have tremendous amount of intellect especially in this forum. I am disappoint to believe that if all us work morning to life on working on a differenent energy source and a more efficent housing design we'd probably beat most of the so call engineers.
you see fella's, The engineers of this world were luck to pay for their education. The sad truth is now with the internet you are in the possession of unbelievable knowledge when one take notice of our abilities as humans to learn, experiment, and work in frank but efficient manner with each other.
Please do not disagree to much in a board room instead assign jobs and wait and see what someone can do without constant judgment of our intensions. Mistakes WILL HAPPEN, on a regular bases. not all structures are perfect and not all gigantic machine were made with all the parts.
This is your chance to make it right. Don't blame schools and created societies to cause your lazy asses to do what you want to do. Pick up that trash and smile when someone is angry. It can cause an eruption of changes no one can ever predict.
