I'd rather have a pit bull with kids than a poodle with kids. Pits are real good with kids, they've been the American dog for years mayn. I've never heard of a family Pit attacking anybody in the family, especially since Pits are bred to not be human aggressive.

Only small dogs I like are Pugs and Bulldogs...I guess Bulldogs are medium sized though.

DAMN!!! That python is a monster. That is crazy . The story is unfolding like something from out of a horror movie. If the snake came for your pets one by one then maybe your family is it's next target . Either use some common sense and arm yourself or take the easy way out and get the hell out of there.
