you all act like rap is the first type of music to ever use ghostwriting or covers, this practice goes back to before the advent of recorded music. elvis, the beatles, etc, etc all used ghostwriters. the concept of the singer/songwriter is a relatively new idea (late 60's early 70's).

Skillz has ghostwritin for a lot of artists. He put out a diss record a while back naming a lot of big time artists he's ghostwriting for too. I forgot the name of the song though

I heard TI writes for Lil Bow Wow

yea i dont feel that shit either, i doubt the artist i listen to have ghost writers since they're all indie artist, but i could be wrong.

i wonder how some one gets into that shit, being a "ghost writer". i know they be makin bread

Only difference is that Rhymefest is a Co-Writer and you can see his name in the writing credits right next to Kanye's.

IMO it takes more humility to have a co-writer...than it does to just pay someone to do the work and not have them recieve written credit for it. But I'm sure the ghostwriters don't mind...they're the ones gettin paid.

Sauce Money used to ghost write a lot of puffy's shit...I think most of the ghost writers just aren't complete enough to really make it in the industry, and these people with great images just can't make a decent song....I mean look at the people getting named, Crooked I, Skillz, Rhymefest, Sauce Money....with the exception of TI none of them have ever made it anywhere beyond having an album on a major label....and 2 of them haven't even done that....but they're fuckin gifted lyrically
