i disagree. fab should do the goofy shit. its an angle. its enough to get him up on MTV and all that i think. he is just being himself. he needs like a sidekick (like 40 had keak on TMW2G) that is more hood to balance it off. like some PE type shit.

Um The people who live out here do. I could say the same about wherever you are from. I get that you just said that out of anger, you r forgiven. Also, the East is the mecca of hip-hop like it or not. The place where it starts at.

Not saying this is fair, but if you don't get Eastcoast spins, you will NOT sell records. Isn't that what we want for Fab? Niggas out here are laughing at this kid, and it's because he went with a gimmick for a single instead of something real.

Why would I say anything out of anger on here? You're the one who seems angry, bumping up a 3 week old thread to spread some news no one gives a fuck about. No one cares about the East, most people don't lick their nuts like you..

What you mean to say, no one in Cali cares about the East, and that's why your artists don't sell shit. That is a fact, NY is laughing at yall. I rarley even admit I'm from the Bay anymore. I bumped up the thread to see if there were any replies to my original posts, and to update you on what the streets feel about the Fab video. You know that it takes WAAAAAYY more than just the Bay to blow up an artist, look at Quinn, he didn't even do 20K.

Again, I forgive you for your ridiculous statements. Everything I say is factual. Do the history.

I've been down in ATL for three years now and i let every nigga know that i'm from the town. They respect that shit and if they don't who gives a fuck. imma still slap my quinn, mistah fab, and yuk in my chev, with my recognize the bay shirt on. I may not agree wit all the music that comes out the Yay but i ain't neva gonna turn my back on the bay.

^^^ Real niggas from the Bay that are in the rap game want to make money. No matter what dream they sold you, they want money! They want those NY spins cuz they NEED it to sell. Look at 40. You say Bay niggas don't care about the East ha! They know just as well as I do, and I haven't turned my back, but listening to people on this board talk that, "the Eastcoast doesn't matter " shit, makes me more embarrassed for you than me.

Well said, and the reason for this comformity is to get that oh-so valubale East Coast air time. They know what they are doing, only it isn't working, because hyphy and go dumb is a joke to the rest of the world. When the Bay had there own sound, that was the style in the industry, they had there chance last year, the rest of the country thought it was a joke, now the Bay's gonna have to suffer through another 10 year slump.

Well it's official, the East is laughing at Fab. It's a shame, he's so talented, wish he woulda gone in another direction.
Not everyone out East. I for one find that shit hella refreshing. And I'm aware of Fab's deeper tracks.

A lot of the stuff out the Bay right now reminds me of Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Redman, Lords of the Underground, Wu-Tang...East Coast groups back in the day that knew how to be hard but have fun at the same time. And the harder group's y'all got like Mob Figgaz are spittin at least as gangsta as anyone out east right now.

For real, NYCis in a serious slump right now. There's some dope acts but in general the music has gotten redundant as hell. The airplay's important but there's no other reason for anyone to addapt to their current style at this point. I mean what is the style? Acting tough 24/7 for the fuck of it?
