I would like to have some comments about this video

I think the first one TRIUMPH could impress yall because its sounds more "american"

the other ones are really FRENCH

they are not some newcomers, they have backgrounds & they've been in the french rap game since at least 10 years

OL KAINRY
"TRIUMPH"

NESSBEAL
"RAP DE TESS" it means > FRENCH HOOD RAP

IKBAL feat Alain de l'ombre
LA RIME POUR LA RUE "The rhyme built for the streets"

IKBAL released this song after being 1 year in Jail for having stabbed 11 times a guy.
Alain was a bank robber and did a jail time in the famous french jail "La Santé"
They've been rapping since 4 or 5 years

i think you dont wanna talk about your country about this...

whats ignorant is liking music with no meaning, and to me, and the rest of us, this has no meaning, because we dont speak their language, it isnt ignorance, we just like more than beats

Thanks for posting these, I am impressed. That NESSBEAL songg is especially nice. I like french rap, even tho' I can only understand a few phrases sometimes. The production is dope to me. I only have a few french rap albums tho', by TTC on Ninja Tunes. Maybe they are french-canadian? They have beats and one of the dudes has one of the silliest rap voices ever. His part starts at 1:20, he goes dumb -- it wanna see that guy collab with keak on a traxamillion beat or something. The guy at 2:19 I like too. The fat white guy on first sucks to me, but oh well. Maybe if you can really understand French you would hate them because maybe their wordplay is extremely lame or whatever....

Anyways, apologies for the borderline WPS.... I'm curious to hear a native french speakers opinion on these guys, are they just a joke? I have a strong suspicion these guys like drugs a lot. I kinda suspect they are like a french-language beastie boys.

And dude's right, french people aren't terribly racist compared to elsewhere in europe. The government treats people in a racist way, but you would hope Americans of anybody can understand a government doesnt represent the people of that country very often.

^^^thats considered rap music? damn, i guess there really are no boundaries anymore. and yeah, im not tryin to hate on this music, because the production is dope, and im sure these rappers put time into it, but the music just doesnt sound right. i know the language barrier can change things, but nothing about their rapping sounds on point (to the beat), or like rapping at all.

I'm not saying you in paticular but with 99% of the rap music that people like these days that's about the only good thing about the songs, the beat.

How many threads about hyphy music have you seen someone say "they can't spit for shit but their beats are dope so they go" or something of the likes?

There is little to no substance in rap these days, it's a sad but true fact. And the few who do things outside the box or have substance to their music won't and don't blow up. But I digress.

I'd rather listen to some dude I have no idea what he is saying but it sounds dope (not saying this is the case) then listen to Lil Uno from The Pack "rap" if that's what you want to call it.

I can dig French Rap, even though i don't understand it.
I think music somehow works on a metaphysical level, you don't have to necessarily understand the lyrics in order to like a song.
The French always come with some tight beats, with strings and other classical samples.
That guy Shurikn is dope and the beat for "Samourai" is one of my all time favorites.
NTM is dope too..
@ cante up: any recommendations for some new shit by Shurik'n and NTM ?

man of course its ignorance you know that if we were like you and the guy who think like you US HH would have never come here in EUrope because at first nobody was into english...it was about the FLOW, the beat and the atmosphere.

And with these elements you can tell if its good or bad music

EDIT: he was not talking about music but about racism in France.FUCK HIM im sure he knows shit about what hes talking about and never was outside his fuckin neighbourhood only ONE second, judging things with the help of FOX news, CNN and all that shit...you really really sucks maaaaaaaaan
