I call my parents mom and dad. Adding the "y" is certainly childish.

Pretty much any name with "y" or "ie" at the end is childish. Johnny, Danny, Abby, Gracie, ... Shit is childish. I don't know how to label it in English, but in spanish, that's some chiquion ass shit. lol

Same here.

LMAO, my best friend in the 2nd grade was Mexican and always called his dad Papi, but for the longest time (before I had to ask) I always thought he was calling his dad "puppy".

Me too lol.

my old roommate we call him "pussface" he used to call his father "daddy" and kiss his daddy on the mouth every time he seen him...i think he used to pretend daddy's dick was a birthday cake behind closed doors
