GORDA, Calif. -- The price of gas has nearly hit $5 a gallon, at least at one California gas station.

The average retail price of unleaded gasoline nationwide was $3.10 per gallon on Wednesday, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

But at one station in Gorda, Calif., $3 per gallon would be a steal.

The price per gallon of premium gasoline at the service station has reached $4.99.

Officials said that's the highest price in California -- and possibly the country.

they wanted people to bike.. and use the train.. if it was too far.. i was listenin to am radio 'cause i hate fm radio.. and one of the workers from the station was talkin' 'bout he's on his way home but he got on the wrong bus.. so he had to ride his bike an extra 10 miles or someshit.. they had him on a live feed.. he was pretty pissed,. HA.

that is fucked up! seriously.. since I live in small city. like Newark.. where everything is 15 mins walking or bikiing distance..

I decided to work at home online.. save on gas.. and just ride my bike everywhere... shit.. i ain't paying those prices.. I think there should be a work at home revolution.... where people start working online.. and just say FUCK the gas and oil companies...

It costs me 2 dollars on the bus to get to Union City to visist my cousins and friends.. if I drove there.. itd be like what 10 bucks or 20? to and from.. lol

^its probably one of those butt fuck towns offa the 5 who gouge people travling the pipeline. I really think i hit that town before doing my trek from Phx to the bay. The gas there was like 3.50 a gallon and i was like fuck that and hit the next town and it was like a buck cheaper

YEAH THAT'S FUCKED UP THAT KID GOT BOOTED. BUT GAS HERE IN WA. 3.39 A GALLON. SAY IF U MAKE 9$ AN HOUR IT WOULD COST AROUND 11 HOURS JUST TO FILL UR TANK.
