Yea, Inner City Poet is by far his best solo album. Some folks wont agree cuz they like that raw, simplistic gangsta shit that was on his first two solo albums. But anybody who has any knowledge at all about rap will tell u that the lyrics on Inner City Poet are WAY more advanced. In fact, lyric-wise, its one of the best albums I own. But u cant let that take away from the first two....Dre was only 15 when he made that shit.

i would say "inner city poet" is a much more mature album from him, and yeah its lyrically superior to GBP.....but I still like GBP better tho, maybe because it was the first shit from him I had ever heard, not to mention it has one of his best songs ever "Manditory Murder"
