Things move fast in rap. By the time their second album, World Premiere (Moedoe/Koch), dropped in April, the Team already had a new single, the "Hyphy Juice" remix, which now rivals "It's Getting Hot" as their biggest radio hit. Since then, Moedoe label head K.O.A.B. has inked a deal for Hyphy Juice, the energy drink he co-owns with the group, to be sold at 7-11 stores nationwide, while Team member Clyde Carson just signed as a solo act to Capitol Records. Carson’s ambitious project, Theater Music — consisting of one multisong, album-length track ? la Prince's Lovesexy (Warner, 1988) — will appear next year, cobranded by Moedoe as well as the Game's Black Wall Street.

Congradulations 2 Clyde Carson wish him the best. That's a good look 4 the bay another artist signed 2 a major. I always thought Clyde had that mainstream sound and at the sametime was heated, with the right push this nigga is bound 2 blow up (hopefully he takes the team wit him). I'm assumin Ya Boy is next after Clyde cuz of their BWS affiliation, seems like the bay got 2 future stars in the makin.
I just got a question so is BWS got a distribution deal with interscope or capital?

think bws deal is with interscope but clyde was alreadi with capitol .. they agreed to have game to co brand it after he was already signed .. Similar to games aftermath-g unit deal i guess

I'm always finna be happy for yay artists gettin paid but I really feel like he will be a poor fit there. There style is more gangster mob music, which i have no prob with, but clydes style is not fit for just that. I really hope they can give him the just goes, bottles up, etc etc beats and blappers. Clyde is a so smooth with the flow i hope he aint jus rappin bout guns and white gurl yadada

with moedoe production he can go far, but if his sound changes to what BWS has been putting out, then his flow might not fit with the music. but we'll see. All in all this is great news for clyde. doing it grande!

i dont mean to be a dumbass... but can someone explain this to me? i mean i get it but i dont.... clyde signed to capitol.... is bws under capitol? since game is signed to geffen... does that have anything to do with this? im confused

Think of it like this.. You know how Lil Jon is signed to TVT right? Well he got his own label (BME) too, and he signed 40 to it under Warner Bros. which is the machine. Same thing cuz, Game is on Geffen, but has his own label too, and got Clyde a deal with Capitol thru it, which is the machine..
