i didnt see anyone follow dre the first time he shook tha row though.....from what i remember he came back to "gangster rap" cuz his new sound at the time wasnt doing shyt...thats what i seen from my perspective...and as far as him backing 40..thats kool n all but dayum...how llong it take thoughto support a fellow westcoast artist besides game and whatever kind of push he gave knocturnal which wasnt much.....im not hating jus givin my opinion....

Nawww, he's not "backing" 40, he's "pushing" 40, meaning he's almost 40 years old. And you are right, a lot of people didn't listen to the first Aftermath Presents Album...people were too scared of change. Personally, I still bump that album to this day...I was knockin the shit outta that Aftermath album last weekend when I was cruising through Los Angeles....I've been bumpin Dre since before Death row, no albums excluded.

YES....DRE IS THE WEST COAST...whether people like it or not. A lot of people think you gotta be some kinda hardcore gangsta to rap or to be dope in the rap industry...no no no no NO!! The HOTTEST people to ever rap or produce don't bang...so who cares if Dre does or not?? I believe QUINCY JONES himself stated that DR. DRE is the BEST PRODUCER of his time...not RAP PRODUCER...but PRODUCER!!
