KC's team is usually in the playoffs. they have to have a losing record to get the superbowl to be there the next year. but if they end up makin the superbowl the next year than it would be cool. and i highly doubt they would ever have tech do a superbowl. he needs to be a multiplatinum artist usually

cool idea but will not happen unless he reaches superstar status, which is in question. i really doubt it anyways, it is heavily rap oriented, doesnt the superbowl try to appeal to a more family oriented audience?

yea um tech n9ne and prince arent exactly in the same category here, if prince recorded an album with him just sneezing, coughing, and whistling, it would sell more than a tech n9ne album, techs audience is very limited, so no it will not happen

Superbowls are in either Domes or warmer climates...I doubt Arrowhead Stadium will be hosting anytime soon......but who knows if they will make it to a Superbowl....who would have dreamed the Bears would have made it this year.

Just this past year in 2006, the voters voted on stadium rennovations for the Royals and Chiefs. A $575 million dollar proposal to completely rennovate each stadium; $250 million to the Royals, and $375 million to the Chiefs. There was also a second initiative on the ballot for a "rolling roof" that would roll between the two stadiums. This roof, when positioned over Arrowhead Stadium, would have the capability to also be sealed so events like a Super Bowl or Final Four could be played in Kansas City. If this measure passed, it would be paid for by area businesses through a "special use" tax.

Well, the voters approved the main package of rennovations, which also forced both teams to sign new 25 year leases with the county. However, the voters did not approve the rolling roof.

Now, if Carl Peterson would get his head out of his ass and overhaul this football team, I think that would make most Chiefs fans really happy because they would actually be committed to one particular direction for the team to go in. Enough of this patchwork they do every year that will "hopefully" get us a playoff berth. For years, that's all the Chiefs have had to do.... make the playoffs, please the Season Ticket Holders, and repeat. People in this town are sick of the fair weather attitude out at One Arrowhead Drive..... time for "King Carl" to do his job or get the heck outta KC.

One of the other issues at hand, is that the tax has to be paid by jackson county missouri, while everyone else enjoys it......Johnson county kansas is a good percentage of the ticket holders and don't have to pay anything

They tried that several years ago, and it failed. They wanted to extend the sales tax used to pay for the rennovation of Union Station... that was called the "Bi-State" tax because five of the KC metro's counties paid the bill for it. This new tax, dubbed "Bi-State II," would have gone towards rennovating the Truman Sports Complex, but was soundly defeated.
